when one streak ends you start another Chatwood was like, ok, I blew it with the bases loaded, not gonna miss again! Just took matters into his own hands for the W. Nice seeing Addie get those hits, and Willy...if we get everybody going it is gonna be something!

Zo is playing RF tonight instead of Heyward. Happ in LF. Go Cubs, beat those Rockies.

Looks like Javy won't need to worry about LaMahieu tonight. He's on the DL.

Apparently we set a franchise record after winning 4 in a row scoring 3 or less per game. Now we’re at 5. Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving it, but I’ll be really happy when we score more and take a bit of pressure off the amazing pitching.

Had to go to Loyola today..on a pick me up whim grabbed bargain tix for the game..that W was worth the $10 AND FIRST PLACE BABY!oh..also got to meet JD and talked with him a solid 15 minutes.What a game1

Met DaviD DeJesus a little bit after JD...(ugghhh sorry so big) but honestly, talking with JD was a blast, he wanted to hear about our gaMe 5 story meeting Ulysses on the train (the guy who was at the 1945 WS) and talked about the AAJ/Javy electricity right now.."quality" 15 minutes of fame for us, for sure! I look exhausted, rough morning but so glad we went. Grabbed upper deck 411, row 2~ $10 apiece, Saw Hotel Zachary too and WOWZER just loved it! It reminded me somewhat of the Titanic , in a GOOD way not the awful ending. The vibe, and the photo of Rollie Fingers in Mordecai's whiskey bar is spot on perfect.

Joe was trying to let Jon get that W...but gets the no decision, sadly. He was hot after that pop out bunt attempt. Threw his helmet so hard in the dugout we heard it!

I am just thrilled we got to see KB's "I'm back" triple...a few more feet and that was in the basket. Thank you Rizzo for getting him in, love those Bryzzo plays. Willy's throw was great to get that tag, Javy with the yip's tonight, AAJ was hilarious after he caught that first one at the wall, he turned back a couple of times like he was cursing it out telling it to back off, lol. The guys were also throwing balls after the innings (more so the last 3) over the netting if people were calling, which was nice.

Didn't feel like a nail biter to us. We kept saying, we hung out with JD, no way they aren't winning this game, lol. SO my DS was lucky enough to get a selfie with Len a couple of seasons ago and they signed the photo so this was just even cooler. I just love how engaged he was with us. DeJesus chatted for a few, speaks EWAY faster and more relaxed than he does on camera. It;s like trying to reach in and pull the words out on TV but he was super hyped up when we saw him I think they were broadcasting from the Park tonight, not sure but I think so.

I think Javy needs to break in that new glove a bit more, lol....I think the warm temps yesterday were so infectious. Honestly, in between innings the guys were like little kids in the dugout (more so than usual) we would have lost $ betting it was going to be a home run derby with the wind/temps. We have been seeing some excellent pitching from teams this last week.

Morrow was saying how he was looking forward to warmer temps. He said the ball felt "chalky" with the cold weather and that affected his pitches. Hope you keep warm weather like last night in Chicago.
