Morrow was saying how he was looking forward to warmer temps. He said the ball felt "chalky" with the cold weather and that affected his pitches. Hope you keep warm weather like last night in Chicago.

me too! For more than just baseball. You just feel more alive with better weather. We were near some Rockies fan's & My DH was telling them every time he sees Lester it doesn't end well....was convinced he brings the bad juju ~but not last night!

AAJ & Willy with the day off~ last week this pitching match up had us winning 16-5, I'm good with a repeat!
Wind is really gusty today, I hope Happ has the hustle/tracking AAJ does tonight.

I much preferred the last time these two pitcher's met..you know, the game where Kyle got all the run support of his 3 starts in one with a score of 16-5? There are game's when the Ump is bad, and then there are game's like tonight where Blue changes the entire game. Diaz was giving so many calls to Gray that the Cubs offense started swinging at crap again figuring it was going to be called a strike anyway.That last AB Victor had was literally redirected by that lousy strike call. Blackmon leading off, his first AB? Kyle not getting those strikes , game changer with the home run.When you see Hendricks walk off the mound, showing emotion? You KNOW the Ump is bad. I would have liked to see the same line up that faced Gray last week, but then again maybe Joe figured on not letting him face the same lineup, KWIM? That said tho, our offense is anemic right now. Fortunately the Bucco's got crushed but the dumb Brewers pulled out a 7-6 win, as did STL 3-2. Brewers face Red's Castillo..or basically just give the Brewers the win now and save time. Need Darvish to get over breaking his Ohtanhi bat and pitch a gem tomorrow.

this season has been especially awful/irritating across the league. I also love how the mound visit rule was put in place to reduce length of game time..but hte Umps pow-wow on the mound about the MOUND VISIT RULE took as long as 4 mound visits

I had a sore throat before I started yelling at the home plate ump last night, I normally don't say much to the ump but I did have words last night, he was squeezing @kylehendricks28 last night #Cubs pitching coach Jim Hickey.

another downside of the dugouts so far away...have to get a megaphone to yell at the Ump lol

I can't help but notice the Red's bat's exploding this season..and ours mostly not (so far) I like Chili but Willy and Addie have not done well so far, yet Schwarb's , AAJ , JHey with improvement

Went over to Naples today and saw a sailboat with a W flag flying from their mast in the marina. Lots of Cub fans in Naples and on Marco Island.

So, the DIS stopped notifying me again and I've been so busy with both jobs (full time job and umpiring softball), not much DIS time.

Anyhoo...going to the Brave's game tomorrow vs. SF Giants. It's my son's 21st birthday, so taking a fairly large crowd. Question...should I wear my Cubbies gear or save it until I go to the Cubs games? It's either that or wear Star Wars (May the 4th be with you).
