On the Ivy Envy podcast they were having a sad pity laugh about Monte post Darvish signing and referencing that scene. No one hugged him at the end there literally, and no one hugs him figuratively.

I saw an interview with Miggy where he said he went to the mound & Monty asked what he wanted him to throw ~Miggy wasn't sure and yeah, said that kinda over his shoulder to him on his way back to the plate lol. So many stars aligned that night.

COGS!!!!!! Another face I miss. He was crushed when he was traded to the A's. I was THRILLED when we got him back. I was hoping Cog's was going to be the PTBNL in the Miggy deal with Toronto but he hurt his wrist again and then Toronto let him go. To me, Happ has some big shoes to fill wearing the #8. Lucky I like JHey so much in RF , lol...Cog's was a favorite at our house.
