Just noticed your sig. You're making good progress on seeing all the Disney parks around the world. Only Shanghai left. I've got HK and Shanghai.

We almost never go home early. It's usually a 10-12 hour day for me to see a game so I'm not leaving in the 7th inning! We have the '12 pack rule' that says we can go home if the Cubs are down by 12 runs. It's an old rule lol. Other than that, I'll sometimes go home if they go deep into extra innings at night games. It takes about 4 hours to get home after a game and if it goes after 11 pm I don't get home until too late. I was at the longest game played at Wrigley (https://www.google.com/amp/wgntv.com/2014/07/30/cubs-win-longest-game-in-team-history/amp/) but left in like the 11th inning. I was a good 1/3rd the way home when they finally won.

I would love to go to Shanghi! I loved my visit to China back in 2008 and I will be sure to include Shanghi on my next trip. The Chinese people were absolutely wonderful and Hong Kong and Beijing were both beautiful.

Glad Rizzo got the win for the team. Nice way to end the game. Also glad I didn't have to get up early this morning!

It got down to 40-degrees at around midnight. One guy behind me joked that the temperature would only go up from there. We also had the 'hawk wind' coming in from the lake.

Luckily for us we booked a hotel room downtown ( thank you Hilton points and Spot Hero) so we didn't have to drive home. We're going home in a couple hours. My DH took most of the week off since we're driving in/out for tomorrow's game.

So what did you both think of Tokyo Disneyland? It's on our list of things to do...

Disney Seas is so wonderful! It is my DH's favorite park. Bring plenty of money. Japan is very expensive.

You'll be fine! August is a great time to see the game. The term 'hawk wind' comes from the song "The Dying Cub Fans Last Request" which has finally been made obsolete.

Really liked it. DisneySea is very unique but a great atmosphere. Food at the parks is delicious!

Only negative is the long lines. I rope dropped the park and the long lines essentially start as soon as you complete your first ride. Need to utilize the FP system the best you can. I

Oh no. I've been to both US parks and Disneyland Paris too. We're hoping to visit Japan for our 30th anniversary. Still have a few years to iron out all the details though...

I have travelled all over the world and Japan is my absolute favorite trip. Love that country. Definitely want to return at some point.

Cubs win! Boy, was I cold. I was not properly dressed for a game that went until after midnight. Even after 30+ opening days I still make mistakes.

I thought our pitching was crap after Lester lost it. We let too many runnners reach base and it's not a shock it finally bit us in the butt and the scored 2 runs.

I gotta say, I liked Jay today. He was a real heads up base runner. I knew he could easily score as long as Rizzo got a hit.

I was thinking the whole new bull pen set up was a huge factor and is going to take some adjusting to~ especially coming out into disgusting damp, arctic weather from what is now a heated bullpen, separated from the team. I was quite pleased with Grimm and he had fire in his eye, loved his fast ball that put Toles on notice..backing him off. Innings 7-9 are Xanax worthy just about every game lol. Funny how Jay got meager applause during player announcement, but was such a huge part of the W! My brother will be at tomorrow's game, gong to be another cold one but at least dry. Lackey on the mound, Dodger's will do everything to pounce early.
