Pretty hard for Joe to manage when the guys don’t show up for work. Aside of Lester and Willy, that is. The upside of being a sucky team is low expectations, lol. You all remember that, right? Games were fun ~ just because, baseball. No stress, no nail-biting.
Willy’s homer was a thing of beauty tonight, and Lester was on the bases more than the heart of the lineup!

It's been an incredible 4 year stretch. But all good things come to an end and I feel like this team is approaching the end. This is definitely Maddon's last year, Theo only has a few years left. The team is poorly constructed (too much focus on offense and very little on pitching).

I know it's early, but depending on how things look in a few months, I think there should be some serious consideration given to being sellers. Start unloading while you can and go for another rebuild.

Jon Lester was having a great time last night. He was smiling every time he got on base. Too bad they had to ruin his big win. I'm gonna hate that rule about making a pitcher pitch to a minimum of three batters next year. There's going to be a lot more Cishek moments like last night. I was really amazed in Cishek's outing last night. He usually is the one we can rely on. Kintzler did better than I was thinking he would based on last year.

You knew Cishek’s arm could fall off at any moment. It’s almost as if the tone of selling off, *urgency* yadda yadda, combined with the FO JUST HANGING THE TEAM OUT TO DRY is messing with their heads ( sarcasm)
In all seriousness , just so oppo of Joe’s laid back style, damage is resulting. I know Chavez and Wilson ( not to mention Hickey)gone but this is basically the same pen that was great last year, but....worked hard ALL year.

With Morrow as a big ? and limited availability even if he is 100% is the unknown icing on the bullpen cake. I am enjoying the offense tho!

And I also enjoy watching the guys who have been traded or not signed, Dex, Jake,TLS, Szczur etc. Just love baseball

Let's also hope that the Brewers don't eat us for lunch on Saturday night or it'll be a long ride home for me. We have a private table booked at Friday's ... it seemed like a good idea at the time .

Well, technically our offense is out scoring their’s by far..but we all know the Brewer MO of getting just 1 run ahead of sending Hader in or-of coming back in the 9th. I just hope Riz and JHey continue to do damage off of him

Sounds about like the fun i'm having with them losing to the Braves I'm in SC and the home team is the braves and of course my brother is having a blast messing with me.
