That's a really a shocking story. People get excited and accidents happen but if I knocked someone out with my elbow I would be the one running for help. I can't believe that they just stood there and did nothing. What kind of fan yells "Your Team Sucks!" to a 7-year old? I will say that they were in the bleachers and that might account for the rudeness of the fans. I would never bring a child into the bleachers at Wrigley. It's really no place for kids and I suspect that the bleachers at Progressive are the same.

The good news is that Stubhub refunded 50% of their ticket price and the Indians gave them tickets to tomorrow's game at Wrigley. The Indians are holding a press conference with him tomorrow. They did a good job of damage control.

Awesome! I hope you find a place to hang nearby. We'll be in the ballpark for the excitement. I can't believe that my first World Series game is less than 24 hours away.

Hard to believe the world series is in Chicago! So so exciting! The news coverage is giving me chills.
DH will be at all the games at Wrigley. I will be joining him on Sunday for Game 5. To say I'm excited is an understatement. This is so darn cool!

On another note....we have twin boys that are almost 2.5 years old. Of course, we are training them early and they know all about the Cubbies! One of them screams, "GO CUBS!" while the other comments "Daddy so happy!" Lol. Gotta start them young!

Are these guys loose or what???

Kyle Schwarber only recently returned to the Chicago Cubs' roster after a six month absence, so normal human emotion would suggest, "hey, let's be nice to the guy and make him feel welcome!"

Well, the Cubs welcomed back their slugger in a unique way -- illustrating the incredible camaraderie the players share with each other -- making fun of Schwarber's performance during a high school choir recital years ago.

Ahead of World Series weekend at Wrigley Field, the Chicago Cubs Facebook page posted a video of Schwarber’s teammates wearing purple shirts and pink ties attempting to do the “Schwarber Shuffle”

In the video, you see Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, and even David Ross busting a move, but at the end, Schwarber shows he’s still got all the right moves.

I guess everyone threw in the towel after Game 3 huh? It's pretty clear the stage was too big for some of our young players. Some of the ugliest at bats I've seen in a long, long time. Especially Baez, he's completely lost it. Bryant really let Lackey down tonight. If he could have avoided the errors, it would have been interesting to see how the offense would have done without the pressure of knowing they had to come back against Kluber and the best bullpen in baseball history.

They were a little sloppy tonight. Hopefully they can turn it around tomorrow night.

The pictures of Wrigley remind me a lot of Fenway Park. I know they were built around the same time, but does anyone know if they shared a similar design? (I can look it up, too.)

well that's baseball. Game 2 the Indian's were sloppy and we tied it up. Francona was thrilled as heck that Cubs had all the 71 year pressure on them and had been in the limelight all season, and they didn't. He was even MORE thrilled that Schwarber wasn't cleared. Javy and Willy a hot mess tonight, yeah. On the flip side JHey found his bat, Riz and Dex producing. Not EVERYONE threw in the towel. The difference is Cleveland had all 9 doing their thing. Francona will do everything in his power to be brutal tomorrow..I suggest we do the same.

Anyone else frustrated with Maddon this series? He 100% absolutely refuses to steal bases or bunt the runners along. I understand that's not what he did in the regular season but part of winning in the playoffs is adapting to what's in front of you. And right now, the Cubs are completely paralyzed with fear at the plate. If we get the leadoff runner on first or 2nd, there needs to be an effort to move the runner to the next base rather than just watching Baez or Contreras swing for the fences on 3 straight sliders in the dirt.

Joe, please wake the hell up and at least try to win.

I'm beginning to understand why my husband can't bear to watch the Cubs play baseball. The more you care, the more it hurts when they perform badly. In the end, it's only a baseball game. However, I am a Cubs Fan, and can't bear not to watch. The Indians can win this whole thing today. The Cubs claim that they don't quit. Time will tell whether the aforementioned "best team in baseball, in 2016", can comeback and win three straight games. Or perhaps the Indians are really the best team at the moment. Only one can take home the prize.
