I am beginning to think July 19th is a good date, as well.

I have a date when I can't do it now. This Saturday, June 28. I scheduled my measuring for my shades and blinds for that day because it's so soon, I didn't think we would be having the meet that day, anyway.

I'm excited that I just found this thread! I am new to the area and would love to meet other DIS'ers. I'm flexible, pretty much any day is good for me and my kids. I'll keep checking back to see the official date.

Meet Date: Sunday, July 27th


I went with a Sunday because I know some of you work on Saturdays.
I know this won't work for some of you.
And I'm sure others will not want to wait and will go see the movie prior to the meet! (Just don't spoil it for the rest!! ) ...but please come see it again and join us!!


We'll have to wait for that week's movie schedule to come out to pick an exact time.
But I was thinking late morning/noon-ish, like we've done before, and then lunch afterwards at the food court in the mall. Or we can do an afternoon movie time, like somewhere between 2 to 4pm-ish, and then dinner at the food court. Either way is good!

Let me know what y'all think!!

My weekend to work. Guess I'll be seeing WALL-E on my own with the kids. If, for some wonderous reason I am cancelled that day, I will be there with bells on!!!

This seems to happen to you too often.

I would have picked the weekend you have off, 19-20th, but we are for certain going out of town that weekend for DS's b-day.

I'm not sure if my kids will want to wait for the meet to go see Wall.E, so if you want to try to get together and see it, call me! That goes for anyone else in our area too!



I got to see the full trailer at the movie theatre yesterday. For some reason I hadn't seen it yet. I looked so cute!! Can't wait to see this movie!!

Kids are going to Michigan (to visit their dad) that weekend. If they go on Saturday I can go, If Sunday I cannot. I will let you know as soon as I do.

That weekend looks OK for us, I'll pencil it in.

We'll probably see it sooner as DS7 is now counting down the number of hours until it is released, . I'm sure we'll want to see it more than once though and it will be fun to put faces with names.

Well, since I just started a new job and can't ask for too many days off (off for my dsister's wedding this weekend and then off for hmoon in Aug), I'll have to see if I am not scheduled. I will come if I am off!

As it turns out, the 27th is better for us!! Kelly might have a game at Thillens on the 19th, and we have our block party now on the 19th as well.

Can I suggest/ask for an afternoon movie, with lunch before, or dinner after? Just because of those of us traveling further?
