okay first off: I've been tagged! hahaha...how cool :)

Secondly, the laundry is stilllll going, i got too tired last night!!
I would hope laundry wasn't an addiction! haha...but who knows anymore i seem to do it a lot!!

About Limo Companies: We used to use WEst Suburban when we needed a limo from Geneva to O'hare!! we had 3 limos!! they took almost everyone to the airport that was headed to our wedding, we were all on the same SPIRIT (i miss them) flight!!

We've also used them to take us to midway from Geneva, Oak Brook and Carol Stream! They are pretty resonably priced, i just don't remember quite how much..sorry!!

WOOO...soo many poeple going to WDW soon! i'm jealous!!! me wanna go too!!!!! <<Stamping her foot>>

So today Autumn said Frog, out of nowhere?!?! where does she get that from?
At what age do they start speaking more? i am a bit worried as Autumn is 15months old and only says Dad, Frog, Ball, Ba and a handful of other words....

I think that's a bout it for now! have a great day!

ohh i will try and hold off the rain cause we want to picnic on saturday....YIKES!!! and fly kites...how fun!

DisneyMommyMichelle Carefull what you wish for. I didn't want a skinny baby and could hardly wait for Alex to talk. Now you can hardly get him to stop talking. I do agree it is cute when they first start talking though.
When your laundry is done do you want to start on mine? :rolleyes1

Hersey: hi there! so many people tell me the same thing, and it's just like when i wished Autumn would walk and she did at 9months, now she's into EVERYTHING! i mean the bathroom has a baby gate on it! haha..it's nuts... I just get worried over some crazy things!!

NO MORE LAUNDRY..please!!! i think it hides on me and when i grab the last load from our closet, i go back and miraculously there is another load there....WTH?! where did that come from :)

okay maybe it is the laundry that is addicting, as now that it is naptime, i just spend the whole time stripping all the beds (cribs/cradles/spare bed) of their sheets and dust ruffles just to WASH them! grrr......what's next the shower curtains??? oh wait did that too!!! YIKES what has gotten in to me???

Hi all-
Been MIA for a few days. I have been reading the posts, just haven't been posting. Been busy trying to finish this article I'm writing for the PTA committee I'm on. Taking longer to write this article than I thought! Still not finished with it.
What a beautiful day out today!
I also should ask for a prayer request( if it's ok). My grandma in the nursing home has pneumonia :guilty: She's had it a week now. She's on antibiotics
and doing the nebulizer treatments. She has a bad cough, too. She is slowly getting better, so I hope she can pull through it ok with flying colors. She isn't near death or anything, but the pneumonia is taking alot out of her. She is 90, so you never know when she will go.
We didn't visit with grandma on Easter because the nursing staff thought the germs could spread to hte kids and we really don't want to be sick. We were supposed to go out to dinner with my parents, but they were sick too, with bad colds. We went out to dinner, just the 4 of us, which was fine.

DMM- Congrats on your tag!!

Hersey- next week, I do know it is "turn off the tv week". Not sure if it will work out with us,tho. I do unplug the tv for a few hours when the kids come home from school so we can get homework done. :teeth: Unplugging the tv is the thing that helps to get going on the kids' homework!

DonnaW- I am a reality tv junkie, too! I'm into Deal or No Deal, the Apprentice, this year's version of American Idol( I really haven't watched the past yrs, maybe the 5 finalists part of it), Unanimous. I also watch my favorite, ER (non- reality).
Also, have a great trip next week!!!

Geffric- Thanks for letting us know about hte free scoop or cone at Ben and Jerry's. Not sure if I'll make it there next week, but I'll try. The closest one is about 15 min( incuding traffic) away from me. I know Cold Stone Creamery has their free slice of ice cream cake somtime soon( with small donation to MAW). Was last yr at this time, late April. I usually get the Make-A- Wish emails about it, but haven't lately.

Ok, gotta go. Hello to everyone else I missed! :wave2:

Rosemarie

Kim We haven't booked our air yet!!! I was going to almost 3 weeks ago and that's when Tony got hurt at work, so I didn't. I don't like playing with extra $$ in these kind of situations, just in case! :) I did check air fares last night and they really haven't gone up that much more, so I think I will be booking soon.

I wish I could give you a referrence on a limo, but we usually drive to the airport and park. Or drive to WDW. But not for this trip, we are for sure flying!! :teeth:

How generous of the Kelly's dad to bestow upon her his bad teeth!! How giving of him!!! :lmao: ;)

Donna Ok, here's another one who obviously hasn't really started packing yet!!!! :rotfl2: And she's leaving next week!!!!!! :rotfl:

Michelle Glad you finally got tagged, all though, I'm not sure if that's the nicest one I've ever seen!!!! :lmao:
What's with the late night laundry?? Sorry I wasn't up late last night to put a hault to it!!! I needed sleep!!! :teeth:

slo I'm glad to hear that last night went well and that you and your brother are getting along!! :goodvibes
I've always wanted to try the BLT salad from Jewel!
Did you make a ressie for Stephanie for BBBoutique?? :)

Dan  You know you're always welcome to talk 'guy' stuff with us!!! :rotfl2:

Today we went to Brookfield Zoo, the whole family plus my mom (she is a Supporting member)!! :yay: Had tons of fun!! Heel spurs are killing me though!!! :guilty: I have to admit that I have yet to see the surgeon for them, I actually lost his phone #, and then found it yesterday. So I will be calling him tomorrow!! :thumbsup2
I'm actually still at my mom's right now, she has a new computer that is so fast compared to ours!!

Gotta run!!
I'm

Hola, everyone! :wave2:

roseprincess - Here's some pixie dust for your grandma. I hope she gets better soon :wizard:

So it looks like a lot of us are hopping on the bandwagon to WDW this fall! It's so funny because all our ticker countdowns are about the same :goodvibes

I've been so busy this week thinking about what DH and I can do in June. See, I turn 30 in June and just decided this week that, darn it, I want to be somewhere fun for my 30th b-day! Immediately I thought of WDW, but DH said "No way". I'm already going in Sep with my Mom and cousin, and he wants to go somewhere we've never been. Fine, fair enough (as I pout). So, I'm thinking New York or Vegas. But I'm hoping my cousin and his wife go with us because the cost would be significantly less. My cousin also turns 30 a few weeks before I do, so I think it would be SO much fun!!

Oh, well. Better get back to work. Things have been "iffy" in the library ever since a staffer or two went to the local press complaining about staff morale. And they printed it. And management is not happy. So, things are really stirring up here!! :stir: Who knew there could be so much drama at the library! I'm just sitting aside and letting things fall into place :rolleyes1

Rosemarie--> your grandma is in our prayers. and good luck with that article :)
Bunchkin--> did you buy your BJ tix? it's at soldier field!!! Ughhh late night into today and now i gotta fold it all laundry..YUCK!!!! no fun! i know my tag is pretty embarrasing! all i did was post on the how you put the TP on the roll thread and BAM i got a tag! I hope your heel spurs get better! what a perfect day for the zoo!!

Jedi_librarian-->New York and Begas both sound like good options! let us know what you decide!!

Have a great night everyone!!

This thread will be very quiet that week, I hope it doesn't get buried on page 152 :lmao:

No tickets yet. And I just got an email today about a pre-sale tomorrow!!
We'll see what happens. Tickets don't officially go on sale to the public till Saturday.
:thumbsup2

Michelle Just took a look and tickets cost: $45 to $95
And you know I don't want to sit in the $45 section!!! I would need to bring along a high powered ---> :magnify: Even to see the jumbo screen!!! :rotfl2:

hahahahah!!! nosebleed section it is!!!! lordy..i may have to say it's DH b-day present then to be able to spend the money without him knowing ut...hmmmm...

hahaha..you'd need more than binoculars, esp. since it's at Soldier Field...hey maybe I can try and get myself on the Jumbo Screen when they pan the audience!!! hahaha....fun/fun!

So this concert will require $$ for tix..$$ for a hotel room since it's waaaaay too far for us to do in one day!! and $$ for a sitter for the babies....interesting ;)

Thanks for the limo info Hersey. ;) Turns out I heard a radio ad for a company I used 20 years ago for my first marriage, so I called them. 2 limos, 2 pickups each at $69.50 per limo. I thought that was pretty good. :thumbsup2 Only problem is that MY family is being picked up first - AT 6:30 AM!!! :sad2: I am SOOO NOT a morning person! :rolleyes2 But, it's Disney right? Who can sleep anyway? (I hope!)

Sandy, sounds like a great time for your Mom & family. :goodvibes And, just my regular Dr., no specialist needed.

Thanks for the list geffric. :mickeybar

Donna, I'm think I'm more ready than you. :rotfl: I dragged out ALL our summer stuff to be sure we ALL had enough for 8days/7nts. You might need to shop girl! ;) My main concern was that I wouldn't have enough. After losing the weight, I haven't exactly splurged on buying a new stock of clothes. :confused3 But, I think I'm good. Some t-shirts may be a bit large, but I can use the extra cloth as a sweat rag, right?! EWWWWWWWWWW! :rotfl2: Our ADRs are set, CRT lunch is set, Fireworks voyage is set, golf for the boys is set - gotta Love Dreams! ::yes::

DMM, CONGRATS on the Tag! :cheer2: While it's not perfect, it IS funny! :rotfl: As for Autumn, she'll talk when she's ready. I got scared about Kelly too, and she was nearing 2yo. Now, there isn't a thought she doesn't share. :rolleyes2 For 4 years, in PreK3, PreK4, Kngr and 1st grade, she ALWAYS had that 'chatterbox' mark against her. :rotfl: For some reason, this year, she bottles it all up all day, and spills it out as soon as school gets out! :faint: Even my mother says she's worse than I was! :rolleyes2 Oh, and take a break would ya? Laundry will wait. ;) Take a nap or something. :thumbsup2

Prayers for your grandma rosemarie.

Nicole, see the surgeon already! :thumbsup2

jedi, Both vacation choices sound busy. I guess you're not into relaxing, huh? ;) What local paper ran that story about the library? Geesh, such turmoil at such a nice library.

Amy & Carrie, have fun planning! And don't worry Carrie, I'LL be here when you're all gone, just bumping the thread, talking to myself. :rotfl:

 to everyone and anyone!

Good morning everyone! It's finally
6.gif

I so love this weather we are having.

DisneyMommyMichelle congrat's on the tag

roseprincess I hope your grandmother gets better.

Kim That reminds me I need to look for my limo reservation stuff I think I left it at work.

jedi_librarian Sorry there is so much unrest at work it makes for a very long day. Is it so bad there why would someone go to spill their guts :confused3
I know libraries are political but why cause more tension.

To all you naysayers I bought out target lastnight last minute things for the trip. decongest stuff, travel size stuff too who knew that stuff could cost so much.

Good morning and TGIF everyone!!!! :cool1: :cool1:

So....what is everyone doing this weekend? Today will be busy as always because I have work, Stephanie's gymnastics, and then my physical therapy. Tomorrow morning is Stephanie's first soccer game at 10am, I'm pretty excited about it :Pinkbounc Then afterwards we are going to the mall because JCPenney is having their buy one get one for a $1 sale (this is the best time to buy the kids shorts and new jeans). Sunday is looking pretty open which will be nice - I need the rest!!!! :faint:

geffric - thanks for the website. Unfortunately, there's no time to drive to the city, but you can have one for me :teeth:

Donna - I started therapy last Monday and today is my second day. It's going well, and I think it's going to help. I'm sore afterwards, but that's okay, as long as it works  .

Michelle - congrats on the new tag :cheer2: How cute that Autumn said "frog" :cloud9: I wouldn't worry about her not talking that much yet. My girls were both late talkers and they both talk fine now. All kids develop certain skills at different times. Before you know it, you'll be holding a conversation with her.

HERSEY - Your ticker is officially in the single digits. Time to do a single digit dance!!!!! party: :jumping1: :dancer: :jumping3:

Rosemarie - I'm sorry to hear about your Grandma :guilty: I will definitly keep her in my prayers. I'll also send you lots of PD for you to have an easy time finishing your article :wizard:

Bunchkin - I didn't make the ressie for the BBB yet, I need to do that. ::yes:: I also need to make the rest of my ADR's, I just wish I could make a final decision on my itinerary  I'm glad you had a nice day at the zoo - it was a beautiful day to be there :sunny:

Amy - What a cute picture of the girls :cloud9: Hayley is getting so big!!

Jedi - I'm sorry to hear about all turmoil at work. I'm actually having some turmoil too, but that's another story for a different day  I hope things there get better soon.

NiteOwl - Hi there!! :wave2:

Kim - my mom really did have a nice evening :cloud9: The death of my Grandma has been a little easier with all of us together all the time. Is Kelly starting to get really excited about your trip? :Pinkbounc

Well, I gotta run and get into the shower. Have a good day everyone!!!
