Ok, let's see if I can finally finish my TR. Part 7:
After my lunch at WCC, I had decided to go rent a little speedboat at the marina. I had done that a couple of years ago at CSR, but it wasn't that fun because it was pretty slow and the lake was pretty small. But the boats on Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon looked faster, so I thought I would try it. I was right! It was sooo fast! I couldn't even go at top speed because it was freaking me out!

I think the boats are the same at both places, so they must have made the ones at CSR slower because the lake is smaller.
But it was sooo cool going around the lakes! I went around Discovery Island. There was a skeleton hanging on it for Halloween. I was afraid to go too close to the Contemporary because she had warned me not to go into a certain area because that was where they do the boating for the parasailing. (I might try that sometime!) I wasn't exactly sure where that area was so I moved on. I went by the side of the CR to go through the little waterway to SSL. It was a no wake zone so you were supposed to go really slowly. It was sooooo slow. It just about killed me going and coming. And then everybody else that was going had slowed down but they had a wake.

Not slow enough! There were quite a few little boats around that I had to dodge, but over in the SSL I had to dodge the ferry boat! I decided I should go behind that one and not try to beat it.

I went by the GF and the Poly.
It was crazy when I would cross another boat's wake. My boat would start skipping on the water. That was the scariest thing! I tried to avoid it as much as possible. When I woud go on a curve I would get the spray of the water in my face, which was neat. I totally felt like I was on Miami Vice!
I did that for 1/2 hour. Definitely fun! I wouldn't do it at CSR again, though. Bay Lake/SSL are fun, and I would try it at POR/POFQ/OKW/SSR/DTD, that area, since there's the river to go up and a lot to see. (Esp. the Treehouse Villas!)
Then I took the bus over to DTD. That was a cute ride. There were a couple of men (brothers, maybe) with some boys. One of them was holding a baby, maybe a little under a year old. The man with the baby was sitting next to me, and at first the baby was looking around, and I was making faces at him. Then he started to get sleepy. His eyes started to droop. The men kept asking me if he was asleep, and I was like, not quite. Finally he was asleep, but one of his eyes was still open a little.

So I told the guy and he reached around and closed his eye.

They were so excited that he was asleep.

I saw them later at DTD. I think they were going to meet up with wives and daughters who had been at BBB, so they were hoping he would sleep.
So I shopped around DTD. I went to the Christmas shop first, to see if they could add the date to the ornament I had gotten for my neighbor's grandson. The artist said yes, but asked the CM to check and see if someone in the back could do it. So the CM mysteriously took it in the back, and then popped out a minute later to ask me if I wanted pixie dust on it.

She said it would look really cool, so I said ok. Finally she brought it out and it had the date with a bunch of little doodles over on the side, including a HM, which did look cool. So success on that one.
Then I went and browsed in the Art of Disney. I would love to get all those Big Figures! Then over to Goofy's Candy Co. Yummy! Since I'm doing Weight Watchers (I've finally lost 1.8 lbs

) I got the chocolate covered marshmallows dipped in sprinkles done with the custom preparing rather than something worse like the rice krispie Mickey (although I did have to buy one of those, which I haven't eaten yet

). Then I got some other things, like those gummy hamburgers that I LOVE. (The ones in the individual packs are better than the Build-a-Burger packs you can get that are large. However, they're not as cost effective.) Actually I think that may be all I got. I resisted pretty well.
I went and bought some pins at the pin place, and then went to the WoD and Once Upon a Toy to try to find these Halloween Mickey pumpkins I was trying to get as a souvineer. While at OUaT, after I had finally found the pumpkins, I decided to finally get a Mr. Potato Head! After a CM explained to me that the large MPH that you fill allowed you to get waaay more than a box, and I decided that it was indeed cost effective (well, if you need to get a ton of MPH stuff

), I started looking for pieces. The CM had told me that she would help me pack it in the container when I was done, so I just went around grabbing stuff. I couldn't get nearly as much as I could when I did My Little Pony as a present last year. That was kind of frustrating, since the pieces were so much bigger. (Not that I didn't get a lot of pieces, just that there was a lot more that I couldn't get...I think there are also way more pieces for MPH. That's why I decided to go for the large container.) So I was starting to run out of time. I had to get back to WL to get my DME bus. The CM was telling me what I should go back and look for, and finally I had to just say, I'm out of time, I've got to go. My dad would absolutely flip if I missed my bus/plane because I was picking out MPH pieces! (He was picking me up from the airport that night at 10:15pm, which is very late for him already.) Plus the shame of it all, having to tell people why I missed my flight.

So I checked out and hurried to grab a cab (which I was planning to do anyway, since that way I could stay at DTD longer and not worry about the timing with the buses). Luckily the cab got me back quickly and I was in time, and of course the bus was 5-10 minutes late anyway.
We had to stop at a couple of other resorts on the way, I think Poly & GF, but I can't really remember now. Otherwise it was an uneventful trip, and at the airport I actually managed to fit MPH in my suitcase so I wouldn't have to carry him on the plane!

I had some yummy nachos at the airport, my last vacation food splurge.

I had an uneventful flight as well, and I got into Midway a little early.
That's about it!

Hope you enjoyed it. Maybe I can work on my pictures this weekend.
