Anyway, Eric is the District wrestling Champ for his weight.. YEAH #1

this is as close as I can come for a wrestling smilie.. anyway he and I went to cold stone last night to celebrate . YUMMY MINT MINT Chocolate Cholate Chip YUMMY!!

and today he wore his medal to school and they have a party on Friday night and Saturday night too.

Not to much going on here today - I'm just going to work.

Thanks to everyone for your hugs, thoughts, and suggestions about your knees. I appreciate you all taking the time to post about it I'll add some more info to add to the mystery. When I had the original X-Rays done about 3 weeks ago, they showed no arthritis, and no bone rubbing on bone (which shows the joints are fine). If my knees weren't making the amount of noise that they make, I probably wouldn't have been granted the MRI. The MRI results also show that the joints are fine, and that there's no bone rubbing on bone. It's really weird!!!! After doing some research last night, it's a possibility that the knee cap is out of alignment, and would cause the loud crunching sound (the sound is like stepping on a bag of Rice Krispies). The whole thing is weird, and I should stop reading so much, because then I just get more nervous when I read things I don't want to see (like when I read about the Connective Tissue Disorder that I mentioned earlier). But thanks again for all your suggestions - I love ya!!!!!:
Debbie - I used to run, but I haven't in 9 years. But this could be damage that I did to my knees when I ran, and then I severly aggravated it when I started working out again.

I really do think that's what you did. My knee made that same sound you are describing! It creeps ya out! I had resigned myself to the fact I was just going to have to live with it and then I just realized one day it was gone

Hope everyone is having a swell day!!


I've been busy all day with this and that. It's just been one of those days. Vacation planning, bill paying, vacuuming, mopped the floors, talked to my mom for a while on the phone (which in the end is a total headache ). And right now I've got Hunter cleaning up his messes in his room and the playroom too.


Geffric Congrats to Eric!!! You must be very proud of him!!


slo Big hugs for you!! I hope the ortho dr. can help figure out what is wrong with your knees!! I know first hand how frustrating it is to not be able to get an answer as to why a person is in pain!! Keep us updated as to what happens!




Anyone watch Lost last night?? I missed the ping pong match! Grrr! I really wanted to see that part but had gotten up to get something to drink and didn't realize the show was back on from commercial. I guess I could watch it online though!!

Good afternoon everyone.
Busy meeting day today. PTO had a luncheon at the Canoe Club today for fundraising information. Lunch was great, and we received some useful info for entertainment books, wrapping paper stuff and cookie sales and got a gift bag with a roll of wrapping paper and an entertainment book as well as sample cards and a free kids meal at Rainforest Cafe'. Then they had drawings for prizes and our school got picked to win a hot dog cooker and I also won 4 tickets to a Comedy Club which I will donate to be a raffle prize at our Fun Fair. Pretty good for someone who never wins a thing!!!
Then it was on to work for a staff meeting. Nothing good there. Just the usual "you didn't remember to do this, and you didn't do that right." Oh well, at least they couldn't spoil my good day!!
And.... the sun is shining!!!! That just improves my day immensely.
Geffric, congrats to Eric on his win. Job well done!!!
And hurray for Thursday night. (I know-I get too excited by the little things.) Good TV night. Survivor!! And then I am going to see if I know more than a Fifth Grader.
OK, better get a move on here with dinner and such.

I did already watch it!!

And I didn't see it last night!! Even though it was a really quick scene. I got up to get a bottle of water and BOOM, I realized the show was back on but for some reason I could hardly hear it.
I expected a longer, funnier scene then that. Especially since they were playing it up in the commercial and online too in the sneak-peeks of the episode!!
I love Sawyer and all his comments and name calling. He reminds me of ............ME!! I call people names all the time...not necessarily mean one's though.

Hey, everyone! I'm back in Chicago and man, is it cold! At least for me it is

Yesterday, nothing went as I planned. My friend, who was supposed to meet with me didn't come because something came up with work. I was kinda bummed because I was at the point where I wanted someone to hang out with. Then, to top it off, later in the afternoon I realized that I misplaced my park pass!!!! I was so upset because I knew they wouldn't be able to replace it. They gave me a pass to reenter the park that day, but that's it. I would have only been able to be at the park for 3 hours today, but still. I was so bummed I wanted to cry. But I made the most out of what would be my last day in the park, and as a consolation, bought myself a big plush Dumbo. I also went to the Blue Bayou for lunch anyway, even though I was supposed to go with my friend (and he was treated). Lunch for myself cost me $41!!!!! Ah well.

This morning, I was bummed because I couldn't go to the park, but hung out in Downtown Disney - then came the part I hate - coming home. Not coming home, just traveling home. Waiting in the airport, being on a long 4 hour flight, then waiting for my mom to pick me up

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well!! You all are so kind and thoughful. I'm lucky to have you all as friends

Thanks for the picture link. You took some great shots. It's funny, we were in Universal, Hollywood in 1997, and I can remember some of those shots still. Not a whole lot has changed apparently.

It think today we are going to celebrate the excitement of going out to dinner tonight We haven't been out to dinner in forever. I think we are going to Joe's Crab Shack Then we are going to go to the mall and visit the Easter Bunny, and then we are going to the Disney Store to buy a birthday present for a friend of Stephanie (she's going to the party tomorrow) and a get well gift for a fellow DISer.

Speaking of which, I'm going to ask you for your prayers for this fellow DISer. I found out yesterday that she's in the ICU at a hospital in Virginia very very sick. Her screen name is eeyoresmountainpals, and she's a fellow fire dept wife (we met on my FD Wives thread). I am very worried about her, so please keep her in your prayers - thanks!!!!!

Also, I think Joe's Crab Shack is closed. At least the two by me are closed down. It was one of our favorite's I was bummed to see it gone.

Jedi- sorry you lost your pass. About 4 years ago we got to WDW and I left the passes at home. Oddly enough Disney replaced them so we were lucky for that. Your pics look great.

My aunt is coming home today. I can't believe that last week we almost lost her and today she is coming home. We are so happy.

Looks as if I may be leaving sooner for our trip. ISATS end on Thursday of next week and my vacation starts on the 17th so i'm thinking since i'm driving anyway might just leave a few days sooner.
