How is everyone this fine Monday?

It looks like we are going to have some warmer temps by the end of the week :thumbsup2 It will be nice to go outside and not freeze :)

HERSEY - :wave2:

Rosemarie - I love the movie No Way Out!!! Kevin Costnar is so sexy in that movie, but then topped himself when he made Bull Durham:love: I used to be a HUGE Kevin Costnar fan, but then I started to not like him as much when he made Waterworld (what a disaster of a movie - no offense if you liked it) and after. But The Guardian is the best I've seen him make in awhile :thumbsup2
**How awesome about your parents taking the kids the other night. That happens so seldom for you - I bet you were thrilled!!!!:yay: :woohoo:

Tiggerrnnn - I just saw Tim yssterday and gave him a ton of toys myself :) I will PM you tomorrow (I'll be at work all day today) and we can discuss a time to meet. I already told him what you said and he can come to my house after I get your stuff to take it. He was just telling me that his sister's organization gave toys to 5800 needy children this past Christmas - that's just amazing!!! I'm so glad I can give him my used toys so these children can have something to play with. :)

macraven - Thanks for the listings!!!! :)

Well, I have to run and get ready for work
Have a good day today everyone!!!

Good morning, everyone! Romper, stomper, bomper, boo...I see...sunshine...and warmer weather....yeah!!!! (I know I'm showing how old I am here, anyone remember Romper room??)

Congratulations, AMY!!!! Wishing you all the best!!!

Our company has today as a paid holiday, so I'm not sure just what to do today...I may *have* to go to the Disney store and see what's on sale!!!

Have a great day, all!:)

Morning all!!
Was dreaming this morning that it was raining and all the snow was melting away.:cool1: Maybe by the end of the week.
My neighbor called yesterday and said he has this week open to paint for us (he is a painter by trade). Wasn't expecting that so soon, so now I am madly scurrying around stripping wallpaper and trying to find a place to put things in the diningroom and kitchen for the week. Not an easy task. Then he will move on to the hall and bedrooms. :thumbsup2 By the end of February this place should look like a whole new house. Then I won't want to move:rotfl: .
Sandy, PM me or if you want I can give you my cell and you can call me. We may have to hold off til next week depending on the painting.
Well, just wanted to check in to say hello. Better get a move on around here. Lots to hide away!!!
Have a great day-enjoy the sunshine and pray for the warmer weather!!!

Morning.. :surfweb: Happy President's Day to all.. I have a day off from work today.

Not much going on here - Geoff is still asleep and Eric is sleeping over at his friend's house that took him to Chestnut skiing..

So things are quiet.. I'm gonna work on a resume today and get that ball rolling ..

Good day sunshine!!!

I hope it's going to get as warm as what they say it will be. But I'm wondering where all this snow will go. I see flooded sewers in the near future!! :sad2: Let's hope not!! ;)

Hope everyone had a good weekend!! :goodvibes

DH and I are still sick, but on the mend. Will the madness ever end?? :rotfl:

My Friday night troop meeting went well, despite have an aweful afternoon that day. Everyone I talk to cannot believe I got assulted by a 3 yr old in line at McD's and then almost run over at Michaels!!! :rotfl: What a day that was!! :lmao:

Amy Congrats on the new baby!! :flower3:

Tiggern Where is your family looking to move to?

Donna I watched Romper Room!!! I loved it when she called my name, which was a popular name in the early 70's!

I hope everyone has a nice day!! :hippie:

:lmao:

Oh, get over yourself will ya!!
She probably called your name on a day you didn't watch! Yeah, sure, that's what happened! :rolleyes1

YOU JUST TOTALLY MADE MY DAY!!! I AM JUST :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanx for the HUGE laugh!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to pop in to say hi. I've been keeping up with the thread but haven't posted. I'm kinda dealing with more "DH" issues. Seems that he has a good way of pulling fast ones on me and it's not making me happy at all :sad1:

I had to work today, too! Most suburban libraries were open today and with it brought out the "loonies" :sad2:

Hi jedi!! :wave2:

I was wondering where you've been!! :)
Sorry to hear things aren't going too well for you and DH. :(

Aww, I'm sorry Carmen. I hope things get better.

Does anyone have this Croc sandal? I wonder how the fit is?

I have this one. I don't think it's as comfortable, especially for longer wear, as the Caymans I have. They rub on the sides of my toes. But the good thing is, if you want to try them, they're not that expensive. :thumbsup2 I have the light pink Niles.

Good night all!! Seems I'm all alone here keeping the late night fires burning. DH and the kids went to the sledding hill before dinner tonight for one last trip before it all melts away. Now I'm up late washing coats and snow pants because it seems the snow has already melted away in many spots on the hill. And I think my family found every muddy hole there was.:lmao:
Couldn't send the kids to school tomorrow in that yucky outerwear. Note to self-next year all outerwear is black so it can be done in as few as 2 loads.
Bunchkin, we're not sure where we really want to go. I keep trying to talk DH into a big move-somewhere warm. He doesn't really want to leave our families here. Though he has one sister on the west coast and another on the east coast, so technically we could go either way and still have family around. I keep telling him, if we went some place warm, we'd probably see everyone more than we do now.:rotfl:
We'll probably end up your way. Better schools. I like St John, IN as well and Lowell, IN even, but DH works in Hazel Crest so that would make it a long drive for him. I only work 2 days a week, so for me it really doesn't matter.
Jedi, sorry to hear you and your DH can't seem to get things all worked out for the good. Sending you some good vibes:flower3: :grouphug:
Donna, I remember Romper Room myself. I heard my name a time or two. And I just know she was talking to me!!!!:rotfl2: So there are a few of us older folks out here.
Hi to Rose, Hersey, Leigh, Sandy, geffric and mac. Thanks again Mac for the postings. I hope to re-record a few this Thursday. The tape I had those on from before got eaten up by a bad machine.:rolleyes1
Bunchkin, I think your cold has found me. One stuffed nostril and one itchy, watering eye!!! What an annoyance!!! And you can't even get any good cold medicine these days without signing away your life.:rotfl:
Well, I'm going to cruise the picture threads for some enjoyment while I wait for the loads to finish. See you all in the AM.
Nighty Night!!

 and :grouphug: Everyone!!!
Good morning, everyone! Romper, stomper, bomper, boo...I see...sunshine...and warmer weather....yeah!!!! (I know I'm showing how old I am here, anyone remember Romper room??)
Ummm, YES, I do. ;)

:lmao:

Just like the day we went to Bozo's Circus, LIVE back then but, our show was pre-empted by 'something'??? No VCRs back then either! :rotfl:

Click here to see silly!! :rotfl:
We don't have this style but, we have the regular Cayman and the Disney/Mickey Cayman in 3 different colors/sizes! ºoº :thumbsup2

Normally I go to the real estate office today, but the managing broker is out of town, so we are not doing the home tour today. So....I guess I will take Katie to daycare, and run some errands (peacefully - Katie is not very patient when it comes to running errands).

Donna - I remember Romper Room, but I never watched Romper Room (I don't know why :confused3 ) I hope you had a good day off.

Tiggernnn - Good luck with the painting (I love freshly painted rooms) How many rooms are getting done?
**I'm sorry you are getting sick:guilty: I'll send you some PD too :wizard:

Bunchkin - I"m sorry to hear that you and Tony are still under the weather  Sending more PD your way to feel better soon :wizard:

Jedi - I'm so sorry this is happening to you my friend    When you want to talk about it, we are here for you :grouphug:
