It's supposed to snow on Monday, New Year's Day.
Honestly, I think the theater is a nice idea, but I thought the food was pretty blah, the theater was "trashed" when we walked in there (and we were supposed to be the first showing of the evening
). There was popcorn and paper containers everywhere and it just didn't "strike me" as being a clean type of place. I had nachos, which were kinda bad. Dan had wings that he said were good, but not great and Megan had chicken fingers and fries, which were plentiful, if not a little "ordinary". But what more can you say about chicken fingers right? I know we all got appetizers, but Dan had taken me out to lunch and we were still full from that, so we didn't want a big dinner.
I also didn't care for eating in the dark -- that weirded me out. Nachos wasn't the best choice of "dishes" to order for eating in the dark either. So, that was my fault. I would probably go back and just have pizza or something. I would wait for spring or summer to go back too because that drive is something else. It was either a dark road or we were packed up in holiday traffic. It got a little nerve wracking!!
We took a wrong turn coming off the bridge into Lemont and ended up near Romeoville. Sheesh! Don't ask me!

Hopefully we'll see you at The Contemporary Friday night - I'll look for you!!!!

I sure hope you can get there in 2007 - I'll send some PD your way to make that happen

I pray so hard we can win a trip via the online sweepstakes I enter, etc. About 3yrs ago, my mom did something pretty nasty. She gave false promises to Chrissy and Matthew, over the phone that she was going to pay for a Disney trip for both of them. The kids got real excited- thinking they were going. Well when I got the phone with my mom, she tells me"Oh, I can only pay $100 towards your trip for 4, you guys pay the rest!" I was very livid she did this to us, as she knew we didn't have a few thousand $$ to go. I did a huge search for Make-A-Wish foundation a few weeks after this incident happened. I referred Chrissy for a wish trip and due to her life-threateneing illness- her heart, Chrissy qualified for the wish, for which we were extremely blessed!
and sometimes I'll be reading and a patron will ask for help and by the time I come back, I've forgotten what I was doing and don't come back to the boards until later and by then I've forgotten what I was going to write. By the time I come home from work, the last thing I want to do is be on the computer again (dang it! The crazy smiley is gone!!!) I do care about everything written on the boards and I do appreciate that we are all here for each other, but many times, I just like to keep to myself and not talk too much about the things I'm going through, so I just "hang back" a little and just pop in to say Hi. I'm glad to see that Chrissy is doing better though
