It's supposed to snow on Monday, New Year's Day.
Honestly, I think the theater is a nice idea, but I thought the food was pretty blah, the theater was "trashed" when we walked in there (and we were supposed to be the first showing of the evening
). There was popcorn and paper containers everywhere and it just didn't "strike me" as being a clean type of place. I had nachos, which were kinda bad. Dan had wings that he said were good, but not great and Megan had chicken fingers and fries, which were plentiful, if not a little "ordinary". But what more can you say about chicken fingers right? I know we all got appetizers, but Dan had taken me out to lunch and we were still full from that, so we didn't want a big dinner.
I also didn't care for eating in the dark -- that weirded me out. Nachos wasn't the best choice of "dishes" to order for eating in the dark either. So, that was my fault. I would probably go back and just have pizza or something. I would wait for spring or summer to go back too because that drive is something else. It was either a dark road or we were packed up in holiday traffic. It got a little nerve wracking!!
We took a wrong turn coming off the bridge into Lemont and ended up near Romeoville. Sheesh! Don't ask me!
