EXTREMELY SCARY! That's the next subdivision over from me! And I got the scoop on how it "almost" happened this morning on the train. The Mom was in the garage cleaning and putzing around, the kids were up and down in front of the house playing and she looks up just in time to see her youngest son heading toward the open door of that car! She just started screaming, not really any type of words just NOOOOOO and *$#@!!($##! The car has Ohio plates!! You can read more about it at the New Lenox website.

This guy was going to take a little kid right in broad daylight in front of his own mother!

Hey, also for us south burbers, there's a Cold Stone on Rte. 30 and Wolf Road in the plaza near Panera Bread (big plaza with Kohl's and Bed Bath & Beyond). No need to go to Orland or Shorewood, just stop in over in Frankfort. Also, just west of Wolf Road on the north side of 30 there is an Oberweis Dairy, which also serves ice cream and THE BEST non-fat milk you will have drink. You know how skim milk is usually watery and sometimes even borders on gray. Well Oberweis' is somehow just so good. I even asked, are you sure this is non-fat milk because when I head back to Weight Watchers, I want to make sure it's the right point value! I got back to WW this Thursday. I gave it up for the summer and boy does it show!! Had too much fun this summer!

Welcome to all the new board members.

And all of you that are going to Disney this month...have a fantastic time. Those of us still here will hold down the fort.

I can't wait to hear your reviews of Wicked. My friend took her mom not too long ago & she told me it was absolutely awesome. I was thinking of taking my DD for her 13th birthday (if it's still playing by then). I, unfortunately, can't commit to the meet to do it though because I don't have her cheerleading competition schedule and it's possible she could have a competition that day. So, I'm stuck with no plans until after we get more information, such is my life.

I at least did already get her choir performance schedule for the school year & put them on the calendar. Just need to get the orchestra dates & put that on my calendar. And, then gymnastics ones but that is Jan - May/June or so. Nothing like already filling up the calendar with kid stuff.
I *really* need to get me a 2007 calendar though so I can put all this stuff on it already.

Yeah, I think you only get a transaction fee if you pay by credit card. The receipient of the payment will have to pay a fee. If you just move money from your checking to another person's PayPal account there is no fee.

I'm so confused. I logged in to get Michele's payment and it said that to accept it I would have to upgrade to premium. It didn't ask for any money, so I said sure. Then it says that there was a fee of 6.75$ attached to the payment. I was able to transfer it at that point to my bank account for free. Am I doing someething wrong?

I agree, there shouldnt be a fee - but I can never figure it out - dh has to take over!!

I just thought taking paypal from us would ensure you had your money fast!! And absolutely charge me the processing fee!! You are so very kind to set this all up, AND to pay for it oop first!!

The Paypal stuff is all very confusing. I always end up having to look at the FAQ. But I think maybe it goes, any transfers to a basic account are free, but any transfers to a premium account have a fee. And to accept cc payments it has to be premium. So I don't know if everything you do from now on will have a fee?

Waaay too confusing.

Kimmumum - welcome! So, are you going to the Frankfort Fall Festival, since you live there? (I've been mentioning it on this thread - I want to go badly this year but I don't think I'll make it out there)

YES!! I'm going to Frankfort Fest. Usually a bunch of us carpool and get dropped off. When we are done shopping, we call one of the husbands (depends on what size car we need) and they pick us and our stuff up. It works out well because you don't have to deal with parking (or pay for it). Have you ever been to the Fest, Jedi?

Will anyone be running the Scenic 10 in Park Forest on Monday? I'll be there. My hubby is running it!
