My friends might come from Indy and go to Kiddieland. They were undecided as to whether they'd come this weekend, but she said they went last year and enjoyed it and she was just saying that they should go every year. So we'll see!

I also got my first call from school. Ben tripped over someone during recess and fell on the black top. He skinned both of his elbow and bumped his head. They said it was their policy to call when there is a head injury. I could come and check him out or talk to him on the phone. I talked to him and the poor little guy could barely get his words out, bc he had been crying. He said he would be fine and could go back to class. Oh, 1st grade is so rough!

My friend's little girl came home from her first day in first grade a couple of weeks ago (they started early!) in tears. The teacher had scared her by talking about how they had different colored cards, and if they misbehaved then she would flip one over, and if they got to red, then they would have to walk some line in the front of the class ( ) and then go to the principal's office. She finally calmed down, and then a few days later found out that the cards got reset to green every day. So she would have to be a total monster to get in that much trouble for the day!

Oh, and ds is fine. He's got a little lump on his head. He's busy watching Leroy and Stitch now. We were shopping when the school called. I think my mom felt bad for him, so she bought him that and Brother Bear 2.
I want to go to Kiddieland, but I'll have to talk to h and see what he wants to do about this weekend.

Glad to hear your DS is alright!!! sometimes it's more scary than painful! and sometiems (ALWAYS) it's harder on mommy! at least for me it always is!! If Autumn or Gabriel falls i'm there holding them and kissing them and they just wiggle to be free!

It was horrible when dd needed stitches last Sept. She slipped in the bathroom and busted her chin open. They had to strap her to a bored and I cried. It was heartbreaking. I felt like such a traitor, prying her hands off of me so they could take her.
Afterwards, at midnight, we went in Walmart and got a new Barbie. The next day, she skipped school (she was in am pre k) and had lunch at the mall and she got her nails done at a salon.
Guilty feeling mommy!

Ugh, I hate when the kids get hurt! On Julia's 4th birthday, we were at my mom's house, and she was running to the bathroom and hit her head. She split it open and needed 3 staples. Poor girl. What a birthday. No anesthetic, and about 1 min afterward, she was running around the ER singing John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt. We left for WDW the next day.
