Hello!!

:umbrella: Hunter and I are soaked from going to the doctors and then lunch!! :umbrella:

New foot doctor recommended phys therapy to help stretch out the muscles in my foot and ankle. Him and I both agreed that we were suprised the other foot doctor never recommended it. I'm glad I went and sought out the advise of another doctor. I have seen another doctor in the same practice as this new one, but never knew they had a foot doctor. Too bad, I would have gone to see him instead of who I ended up having my surgery with. These doctors were the White Sox former doctors for the team. :teeth:
I'm not sure if I should follow up with the old doctor next month. :confused3

Michele I don't know why but my search function is not working! :confused3 Crud!!

Michelle Just wait until you no longer have to bring the diaper bag!!! :cool1: This will be our first trip without one in a while. Our last trip to WDW was 11/2004, just months before we bought the new house. And we didn't go last year, because of the new house!! :teeth: So this year is no diaper bag, no sippy cups, no diapers!!!! :woohoo: Just a backpack and the stroller. Can't get away from that yet. Hunter's legs wouldn't be able to handle all the walking. And when he does want to hop out and stretch them, his sister hops in for a free ride!! :rotfl: But we have a compact, light stroller so it's not a hassle to take on the plane and such.

paint Glad you made it home safely!!! Tell us all the details when you get a chance!!! :thumbsup2
Did the kids go to school today??

As far as the Bengston's Pumpkin Patch meet and game/pizza night meet goes: Official date for this meet has been set for Saturday Oct 28!!
Meet time 1pm!! We can either meet at the pumpkin patch or meet at my home and then convoy over. I'm easy to get to. The pumpkin farm is 15 minutes from me.

Check out BENGSTON'S PUMPKIN FARM for more details on the farm itself. There is a lot to do and we easily spend at least 2 hours there.

Pizza / Game Meet
Those interested in joing us for more fun can come to my home for a pizza/game meet after the pumpkin farm.
Adults chip in $4 per adult for the cost of pizzas. Kids are free!
In addition we supply the sodas and appetizers.

You bring: a dessert to share, and a game if possible, kids can bring their own games if they like (doesn't have to be a Disney game BTW!!). You can also bring adult beverages if you choose!
If your dessert needs to be chilled be prepared to come to my house 1st to drop off your dessert!! :thumbsup2

Please let me know if you will be attending either or both of these events. :cool1:

Rosemarie welcome back why did you leave so early on sunday? you could have enjoyed more time.
thanks! Check-out of hotel is 11am. We checked-out of hotel at 10:30 am. Dh and i did walk by the lake(a block away)for a few minutes before we left to go home. My left foot was also hurting real bad, so I didin't want ot walk around too much. then also it takes an hour nad a half to get home, plus we stopped for lunch at Culvers on hte way home. We were home right at 1 pm.
My mom doesn't like having hte kids longer than she has to  . I originally told my mom we would be back by 3pm on sunday, which is 2pm on my mother's schedule :sad2: . I called my mom around 2pm, after I unpacked and started laundry, they weren't home. She called me from her cell phone at 2:30pm wanting to know if we are home yet. I said yes, she said I will drop off the kids in 20 min. They were here at 2:50 pm. Actually, my dad brings in the kids in our condo foyer and my mom is waiting in the car, with hte car running, waiting for my dad to hurry up and get back in the car. she was driving. My mom is always like this, she gets my dad to accompany the kids to the foyer with hteir stuff and then my mom is waiting at hte edge of hte driveway, to drive off as soon as my dad gets in hte car :guilty: :sad2: . but that's how my parents are, can't change them  .

Rosemarie

Hi all!
I just walked back to work from going home to lunch, and I really wished I would have stayed home! I am soaked now. I had an umbrella but it didn't help. Good ol Chicago!

Bunchkin! Great news on the date set! I'll know whether or not I can come as soon as I know DBF's flight schedule. Hes flying to Germany that day! I should be able to come by afterwards-if I miss the farm, I'll meet you at your place. I guess I should ask when you were planning on getting back to your place?

Mindy Hopefully you can make it to the pumpkin patch, but if not I'm thinking we should be back at my house by 3:30pm (if we stay for 2 hours at the pumpkin patch).
You could always PM me your cell number and I could call you with an update when we are leaving the Pumpkin patch!! :teeth: FYI, on the weekend the drive from the city (you are in Hyde Park, yes??) should be approx 1 hr.

What's for dinner, ladies? I'm clueless and it's almost 4:15!

Sal should be homein 45 minutes and i have nooo clue what's for dinner! I have the chicken out and marinated, so it will probably just be grilled with some veggies! easy, but not too hard!

We leave for the WORLD one month from today!! or yesterday! haha!! we're still debating that one!

We will most likely come to that conclusion that day!

I'll get back to you about the pumpkin farm, too, Bunch! Have to see if it's DH's weekend off. Don't know if I could handle all 3 girls by myself.

I think I'm going to order Chinese. :goodvibes

I was a good girl and went to the gym. Stepping on the scale after ddp was :scared1: !
The kids started school today. DD will normally ride the bus, but I drove her today. It was pouring when I brought her in. I got soaked and lots of streets were flooding. It is such a yucky day. It matches my mood. It is so sad when vacation is over.
Anyways, it seems like we got out of FL just in time! The weather was not too bad while we were there. On Mon we checked into Pop and had lunch. Then we swam for awhile. DS is infamous for doing this...he cannonballed into the pool and inhaled water. He made it to the side just in time to throw up! Kids! Gotta' love em! Later we went to DTD and ate at Wolfgang Puck's Exp. Then we got a Doh Bar from Raglan. It was a fried Snickers bar and it was so good!
Tues we went to MGM. We convinced dd to go on ToT. She was okay, but did not want to go again. We also saw all the Power Rangers, which is quite important! We ate lunch at Pizza Planet and dinner at Sci Fi. It was so cool. The kids loved it. If every meal could be so peaceful...the kids were seperated (one in the front of the car and one in the back) and there was the drive in screen to watch. The food was good, too. We went on more rides and headed back before Fantasmic bc we wanted to beat the crowds and go swim at CSR.
Okay. I don't want a super long post. I'll add more later.

Paint sounds GREAt do far! which building were you in at POP?

Michele, sounds delish! I LOVE Chinese!!! we haven't had that for awhile! Autumn loves rice and Sal loves everything!

Ohhh DH just called! he will be home in 15 minutes!! :yay: he got to leave early and ran into NO traffic!!! :woohoo: DD is still asleep and Gabriel is in his high schair eating Cheerios and smiling at me! it's soo cute! he is playing with his Little Touch leap pad and it makes him laugh

cute unless he has a cheerip in his mouth cuase it goes flyin'!!!

Welcome home Paint. Can't wait to hear more.
Rained here all afternoon. Vacuumed, did dishes, swept, and kids and I played Disney Scene It and Scrabble Jr. Nice rainy day. Now they want McDonald's. YUK!!! Nothing planned for dinner either. What't a mom to do now?
Bunchkin, would love to do the pumpkin farm. Have to check soccer calendars. Both kids and I play this fall. Maybe would skip soccer for Dis fun!!
DMM think it's so funny that you were pregnant right after adopting. I know so many people who adopted and then found out they were pregnant. Must be that lack of stress really does aid in pregnancy.
Hello everybody else out there. Hope you all had a good day in spite of the rain. It poured here. We need to build an ark!!

A long time ago, when the Earth was green
There was more kinds of animals than you've ever seen
They'd run around free while the Earth was being born
And the loveliest of all was the unicorn

There was green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born
The loveliest of all was the unicorn

The Lord seen some sinning and it gave Him pain
And He says, "Stand back, I'm going to make it rain"
He says, "Hey Noah, I'll tell you what to do
Build me a floating zoo,
and take some of those...

Green alligators and long-necked geese
Some humpty backed camels and some chimpanzees
Some cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you're born
Don't you forget My unicorns"

Michelle HP Scene It is great!!! And it has the party play option, unlike Disney Scene IT!! Did you get it??? :yay:
