Shes so pretty! Too bad she doesn't like to be touched! But its so great that she was sweet to you last night :goodvibes

Those green birds are so cool to watch. We have an empty lot with a couple big trees behind our apartment and we see them hanging out there. Aparently once there were 2 and owned by someone in Hyde Park, who let them go, and they have thrived ever since!
Oh, she likes to be touched - but under HER conditions!! :lmao:
She loves a good head rub, though :goodvibes So much that if I stop rubbing her head, she walks over to where my hand is and lightly bites me as if to say "Don't stop"

I have never been to Cheesecake Factory!!!!
I've tried to go there, but the line was so long to get in!!! :faint:
It is best to go at an off time, but you can always get cheesecake to go. After the Cars meet, my sister and I went to Oakbrook. We split a piece of White Choc pb truffle. Their food is good, too.

I'm sorry to hear that. My cousin's like that. But believe it or not, we've been working on her and she now allows Baby to give her a "kiss" (though in the back of my mind I always pray "Please, Baby, kiss her, don't bite her!" )

SamIAm and Paintnolish How about Saturday Sept 9th fro lunch at the Frankfort McD's ?? :teeth:

jedi I love your bird!!!! But still no real comparison to having kids!!:rotfl:

Tiggerrn We have been to DL. But not since DD was 18 months old!!
We are very exciting about going back. They were just starting building DL Cal Adventure when we were there last!!! We have my SIL & BIL who live about 45 minutes from DL. So we will be visting them....maybe!! :rotfl2: We are spending 3-4 days in the parks, and a day trip to American Girl LA for lunch or afternoon tea!!!! No other sight-seeing there. We have done Se World in the past. After DL, we are driving to Las Vegas where the grandparents live!! We will spend abut 4 days there. We'll be doing Midevil Times at the Excalibur, M&M World, Hoover Dam.

We've never been to the Frankfort fall fest. But it sounds like fun!! :teeth:

I better run, I have a lot to do!!!

Have a great day everyone!!!

Paint, trying to find your food pictures and face picture. Where are these threads?
Funny, I've seen most of your pictures online in different spots. I feel like I know you all already. Sorry, computer ignorant here. Still can't figure out how to download and post pics. I keep asking my IT DH to help, but he's always too busy. I will be so glad when this 5 year remodel (gutting) project is done!! We can get back to a normal life.
DMM try DL while your kids are little if ever want to. Being smaller, it is great for the little kids. Ride height restrictions are less for some rides, also. Plus, great for character interaction. Easier access. Can't compare to WDW. Just different, but as much fun in its' own way. However, I think due to its' Hollywood and computer generated connections, the parades and shows and fireworks are done with more flair.

Thanks for that!!

Autumn is now playing in a huuuuge box of packing peanuts!! :sad2: yes IN a box! Sal ordered something totally lame and it came in this box and she loves the little bit of peanuts at the bottom! she just sits in there..wierd!

Man, we are burning up the pages this morning. I need to get moving. Suns out. Kids want to go to Adventure Trails and mini golf and play those silly games for those ridiculously cheap prizes :lmao: What's a mom to do? After 2 days of being tied to the house on account of rain, they need to get out. Maybe we'll try the park after. DS is supposed to have soccer practice tonight. Hope he doesn't fall into a hidden moat!!

I've never been to DL either :sad2: i just can't bring myself to go! my mom and dsis went a couple yrs ago with the MCds convention and they didn't like it in comparison to WDW. I of course would compare also! haha!!

MIL loves it there she goes every year! DH doesn't want to go antime soon either! at least not before Hong Kong Disneyland!! :yay: now i want to go THERE!!!

You should go! Especially if you take the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour so you can see the history with Walt that is there. WDW doesn't have that. And also it's neat to watch the opening day special that was broadcast from there before you go, and then you get to see some of the same places, what they're like 50 years later! :sunny:

And I could go to Tokyo Disneyland/Disneyseas before Hong Kong. Hong Kong doesn't have a lot, at least not yet. :thumbsup2

Well, I thought I'd mention it since some people seem to like that sort of thing. Tiramisu cheesecake is good and the Godiva one, too!

Well folks I've gotta run! Its lunchtime and I have a busy busy afternoon. Chat at you later!

alright chicas, i'm heading out! my lil guy just woke up and Autumn is showing NO SIGNS of napping, so off we head now!

Have a great day and chat later!!!!

Tigger- Here I am! Keep in mind I had spent the last 10 hours in sweltering heat and humidity and a torrential downpour!

Don't know why we spend all kinds of money on toys. Just give a kid a box and they're happy for hours
