Hi all-
I'm kinda Bleh today- that time of the month and I'm pretty tired today. Feel like Snoopy on top of his dog house- on Jedi's siggy
Tomorrow I need to look for boots for Matthew, as he had outgrown the ones he had for the past 2 yrs. Dh went looking for boots for ds over this past weekend, but didn't find anything for his size with velcro or zippers.

Slo- Sorry to here Katie is sick Hope she feels better soon I think you asked if the kids help with decorating our tree? Unfortunately, no. Dh does most of putting up our tree and the lights. I'll help a little with the ornaments. Chrissy didn't want to help, tho she loves Christmas lights. Matthew was with my parents for a couple of hours yest, helping my mom out putting up decorations at my dad's business.

Mac, when you have a chance, can you explain what the WPAGHETTII,whatever this is that you are in, is this a game? How do I go about signing up to be an audience member for your team? Do I PM that DISer you have linked on your post? I am so clueless of the games on the community board, as I hardly go by there(the games thread). Thanks so much!

Not to worry if it snow it will only be flurries no accum. We could only wish the 60's would stay around.

This is our 2nd Christmas in the new house! So I have no clue what's gotten into Tony lately.
We looked at almost all of those 30 second movies the other night!!!
Loved them all, especially the RHPS one!!!

It's gonna snow and it's gonna be cold......it's Chicago!!
But on the other hand, since it is Chicago, the weather could change again at any moment this weekend and be nice again!!!

I got a message that my Minnie costume didn't ship, and when I called them to see what was going on she told me (after being on hold for like a half hour) that they are sold out, and that it was a glitch on the web site. She said that they could get more in, but not necessarily. It sounds like the best thing I can do is keep checking by phone where they can check their inventory.

How's everyone today?

Today I'm going into the real estate office, but only for a little while. I want to come home and be with my sick Katie. This is RSV season, and even though she can't get that anymore, she can still get terrible bronchitis that is stemmed from RSV. Since she had RSV twice in her life, and was horribly sick as a result of it, I'm very paranoid this time of year.

Bunchkin - Wow, Tony really is like Clark Griswold this year It's easy to do with this weather being so nice. There are alot more houses decorated in our subdivision this year, than there were the last 2 years. I bet your house looks great and he is doing an awesome job

How is everyone today? I hope your Thanksgiving was great!

I'm bummed today as I have entered my mid 30's for today i'm 35

My son keeps trying to talk me into going to Disney this weekend to celebrate. I told him to shake that money tree and we will be on our way. lol

I started my new job last week. I feel so lost. I went from knowing everything to knowing nothing. I hope I catch on soon.

Not much going here besides cleaning and more cleaning. Along with laundry and organizing. Also trying to fininsh decorating this afternoon after Lauren is home from school.


Does anyone, besides me, need to make a list of the Christmas gifts they have purchased?
Tony was laughing at me last night while I was going around the house making my list of things I've bought and put away in my hiding spots.
If I don't make a list I will over spend.

Hi Everyone,
I wish some pixie dust would just miraculously make all of us feel better who are sick. Especially the poor kids!! I guess it's that time of year but it still stinks!

I seem to be getting things done still. Today we went downtown and ate under the Marshall Field's Christmas tree (Yes, I am one of those people who will not say M*!#S!) My DD loved the windows and the weather was so nice and mild it was perfect!! We try and do that every year. Traffic was awesome too. We zipped downtown in 25 minutes! We try and go right when the breakfast starts so that we can avoid all lines so we had to leave during rush hour. My DD told Santa what she wanted and DS cried and cried .

Kim...we played hookie from school.

Mac & Jedi...You were by me too. I almost invited myself to your dinner so I could meet you guys but I didn't want to intrude! Plus, you would have been stuck there with my kids too! I would have had to bring them along.

All of you who finished your decorating...... everything sounds so great. I love Christmas, commercialism and all! I always say I am the Marketing departments dream chump!

My stuff is slowly getting organized. I might be done by the weekend if I'm lucky!

Leigh..I feel bad about the costume!
Mac...I need that whole WPASADI explained to me too. Looks cool!
Becky..I am going to PM you about the HSM newsclip I saw on channel 5 about the tickets.
Bunchkin...YES, I have to make the same kind of list. I make a thousand lists though for all different kinds of things. Too bad I don't always refer back to the lists!

Disneynut -- Happy Birthday 35 was a hard one for me too. Hang in there, it gets better.

Debbie -- Hmmm....you've peaked my curiosity -- do we have fake tickets or something.

Tonight is the Meijer tour for the my older son's Cub Scout troop, it's supposed to go with the Fitness badge they have to do (nutrition, etc...) Should be interesting. I've never been to one, DD did one in Girl Scouts but it was at Dominick's. I think Meijer took it over since I went to the same place but Dominick's isn't listed anymore.

My DD is home sick today though so that's no fun but it does make my life easier as she was supposed to being cheering and getting done at 6 pm with the tour getting done at 6 pm -- I had done some pulling string coordination that now is never mind. At least she is well enough to do a bit of babysitting (there is a small time lag between the time I have to leave & the time DH gets home) so I could tell Grandma she didn't have to come over.

*To answer your question - YES I make a list of things I buy, and I'm so glad now that I"m not the only one that does that I store my list on WordPad so it's easy to update

Bunchkin - not only do I make a list, I take pictures of it, too!!! That way if I lose the list, the pics are on my computer and I can SEE what I've bought

Disneynut - Happy Birthday!!! You're not old. When I turned 30, none of my co-workers sympathized with me as most of them were celebrating birthdays of double that number this year

I'm glad I came on this afternoon. Was having a bad day. Home stuff, and then my boss lid into about the dumbest thing. All my coworkers are saying "HUH??" They seem to think I get picked on because I'm one of the younger librarians.
