Chicago Area DIS meet DEC 7th!

HI A mickey yes it was a good time on sunday and we are still up in the air about the podcast cruise but we are seriously considering it. Have you thought about which place you would like to purchase at. Hope our conversation helped and I am sure you would enjoy it for many years.

We are only looking at AKV or BLT... with the edge going to AKV (I love it there, and it's cheaper). We are also looking at the resale market (the PodSquad approved one, of course) and may go that route if financing is better. We just aren't sure right now, but all signs are pointing to a big, hearty "Welcome Home" in our near future
To repeat what my wife already said; I really enjoyed the lunch as well, and we hope you can make it on the cruise!

I would like to thank everyone for making our first DIS meet super enjoyable, too!!

It was well worth the drive. Hopefully, next time won't include a snow squall.

I do wish we would have been able to make it to lunch as planned, but Crea & Pepin made that not possible.

We were impressed by the Doorway to Dreams store. I don't know why, because when Disney does something, they usually do it right.

It was a pleasure meeting y'all and can't wait to see some of you on the podcast cruise!

HI.. I was a great meet.. thanks to Geef and Janet for putting it together.. I just love the way that DVC does a presentation.. low keyed but very informative..

I am sorry that I couldn't make lunch but DS#2 had just told me that the band practice was at our house at noon. so i needed to clean up and prepare.. This won't hapen next time..

Chicago was fun, at least what we saw of it. I would love to come back and actually see some of the city. Ride the train thing in between the freeway..Visit Michigan Ave...the Sears tower. I guess 22 hours in the area just isn't enough!

I actually worked in the Sears Tower for 12 years... 22 hours would have been just fine!

Sorry it took me awhile to post, been busy.
It was nice to be at the Dismeet last Sunday
Got to meet some new DISers and chat with some that I have known before.
(Geffric and Dan Murphy).
I didn't stay for the lunch part, just the Doorway to Dreams part.
