At Christmas we are flying non direct to MCO via Chicago with just a 2 hour stop over from Dublin ( immigration in Dublin ) will this be enough time? has anyone done this ? what is ohare like?

I'll be able to let you know when we get back in July as we are going via Chicago and I think we have a two hour turnaround ;)

O'Hare is large but with the tram and people movers, 2 hours should give you plenty of time to get from the international terminal and through security.

:sunny: Hi

O'Hare is large. You have to exit one terminal get a tram and re-enter the airport throught security checks again. We had a two hour stop and we just got to our connecting flight with about 10 mins to spare so I wouldn't hang around. You also have to ID your bags once throught immigration and take the to a bag drop, just close by.

Have a good trip :goodvibes

I would say that two hours is tight.
If the flight departs on time and arrives on time, if the queues at immigration are small if the queues are small at security into the domestic terminal are small, you might be ok.

However, depending on who you are flying internally with, there are lots of alternate flights you can take if you miss your connection.

Because you will have gone through immigration in Dubin, I think that this will be a comfortable connection for you. I've used Chicago a few times (and had to do immigration there) without problems ...... but don't get me started on Atlanta ..... !!!
