Chicago Airport question?

I might be flying to Chicago some time next year for a cousin's wedding. How many international airports does Chicago have? I've heard of O'Hare and Midway. Are they the same one?

Midway is much smaller. I never fly out of O'Hare if I can help it. Glad you'll be able to fly SWA. That's what I usually fly, too.

Midway is south of the city so it can be fairly expensive if you have to go downtown or north. O'Hare is north and west and because it is larger, it is generally less expensive to get a limo/taxi to and from there.

O'Hare is HUGE but the terminals are separated so its not like you have to walk thru miles and miles of terminal.

If your family is in the northren burbs, you might consider flying into Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee. It is an easy drive to the northern burbs and the "low cost" airlines generally fly there.

LOL. Yes, actually I do. Back when I got my private pilots license Midway was basically a general aviation airport and there were only a handful of commercial flights daily - with the advent of Southwest Airlines it has regained its prior glory - but compared to O'Hare and other major airports it is "very small". Maybe "small" would be better than "very small".
