CHH-can someone confirm this?

On our trip in October we ate frequently at Columbia Harbor House in MK. WE loved the apple pie. Now I just noticed that apple pie is no longer on the menu.

Can anyone that has been there recently confirm that this is definitely the case? It looks like there is only chocolate cake for dessert.

When we were there in January it was only chocolate cake.

I know how you feel - we still miss the bread bowl for the clam chowder.

Ugh! That is bad news. I'm really not a fan of chocolate cake. I wonder why they did away with the apple pie?

Weird - We were there in March and we had apple pie. Which I must say is some of the best apple pie Yummy!

We ate apple pie when we were there in January... but, I don't recall if it was actually on the menu. I just saw someone else with it and asked for it because it looked so good.

I sure hope they still offer it at CHH. We loved the apple pie served there when we went last summer. Tasted homemade, I don't mind the cake but the pie is so much better.

Well maybe there is hope. My DH is really disappointed as well. He wants to cancel the trip...kidding of course. But he even told a friend of his about how much he loved that apple pie.

He likes chocolate cake but loves good apple pie. Chocolate cake does not agree with my stomach. I would need immodium AD if I ate it.

I guess when we go in Dec. if I don't see apple pie on the menu I will have to ask.

We were there in March and the apple pie was the special dessert of the day. The CM told us it is not a standard menu item anymore, but will appear sporatically as the dessert of the day. We got there on a day it was offered. I'd wanted to try it since hearing such great things about it on the Dis. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. To me the filling tasted just like canned pie filling. The crust was great, but the filling just wasn't homemade. My aunt makes the world's best apple pie so nothing can ever quite measure up, but CHH's didn't even come close. Sorry guys.
