Chewable Meclizine for Travel Sickness

I was a car sick kid and I'm still a Car sick adult. I use the Chewable Meclizine HCI 25mg tablets. You can get a bottle of a 100 at Walgreens for $11.00. They may look at you funny just repeat what you want they have it.

I take 2 tablets as I'm a real sick-o and the Dr. said 1 to 2 tablets. Dr. told me to give my then 6 yr old 1/2 a tablet.

I start taking them the night before we travel then every night of the trip.
Dr said by taking them the night before, you sleep off any drowsiness that you might get.

I can even ride Space Mountain!! And Star Tours!! But For everyday I carry the bottle with me, my friends car with double wishbone suspension kills me every time!! So I whip out my meclizine and start chewing!

The great thing about Meclizine is it works even after you start getting those nasty queasy feels. Which Dramamine isn't so good at.

I"m going to keep on adding on these posts - GINGER!! Its chewable, it works, it was put to the ultimate test on the tv show MythBusters, and it worked!!

You can have ginger snap cookies, ginger ale, ginger candy (like altoids) and there is a crystalized ginger candy that totally works!! (I often just buy the ginger capsules at the health food store tho - but for kids, for stomach quesies, and morning sickness, GINGER ROCKS!!)
