Jordan: He shrugged "it's whatever. I mean, it's my fault."
Marcus: "Why?"
Jordan: He shrugged "it's whatever. I mean, it's my fault."
Marcus: "Why?"
Jordan: "because I shouldn't let things bother me. I should try harder to look on the bright side."
Marcus: "It is hard." He fell to his knees and held his head. "I was homeless? I ran away. I worked somewhere and hated it." He looked up, shocked at the strange memories.
Jordan: He knelt on the ground next to him "are you okay?"
Kenzie: Kenzie twitched slightly.
Ember: Ember yawned.
Marina: she grinned seeing Kenzie move. She looked over at Ember. "I'm sorry."
Kenzie: Kenzie then lay still again.
Ember: "Don't be sorry."
Marina: "But I am. I shouldn't have gotten mad because of a deer. Heck, I'm sorta wearing it right now." She gestured to the wrap around her chest, made of deerskin. "Used up all my fabric as bandages, needed something."
Ember: "I should be sorry. You do what you have to do to survive. Kenzie paid the price."
Marina: she shook her head. "She'll be alright, I promise."
Dawn: she opened her eyes and flinched at the sight of strangers.
Marina: she held Dawn's hand. "It's alright, they're friends." She released her hand only when the Death started to relax.
Ember: "I hope so. I shouldn't have left her alone out there."
Kenzie: Kenzie's leg moved.
Marina: "Don't blame yourself."
Ember: "It's hard."
Marina: "I know."
Ember: "I just don't know why I didn't go for help when they started getting infected. She looks like she got attacked from behind, like it was an animal that got her."
Kenzie: Her leg continued to twitch for a few minutes until she finally stopped.
Marcus: "Y-yeah. I just remembered some stuff. I think."
Jordan: "yeah, I know what you mean. It's kind of scary randomly getting pieces of your life before here filled in."
Marcus: he nodded and stood up. "well then." He said, clasping his hands together. "Let's get back to work."
