Marcus: he frowned as much as he could. His poor girl.
Marina: "Well, I was with this boy named Jordan and a few others. None of us remembered anything. And I had both legs." She looked down and frowned.
Jen: "Sweetheart, it's okay."
Marina: "It was tough out there at the beginning. Really tough. But Jordan and I stuck together. I hope you can meet him soon, he is dating a Death too. Well a tree was going to fall on Jordan, who I finally convinced to sleep, but I pushed him out of the way and I got crushed by it. He flipped out when he woke up and lifted it off of me. He went to eat without me because it was meat and that's when Alex showed up."
Dawn: "Okay. Can I get cleaned up?" She realized she was in torn clothes and was bloody.
Jordan: "yeah, of course" he opened the door and pointed to another door. "The bathroom's in there. if you want to use the shower you just want to turn the know so the handle is pointing up. that will start the water, you can use anything in there. There are towels on the shelf. Maybe after I talk to him we can go visit Marina." He walked up to Jon "I'm ready now. If you still want to talk."
Jon: he stood "yes, that would be good."
Jordan: He sat across from him at the table "go ahead."
Jon: "Jordan you need to know I am so sorry for everything I've missed. I can't believe the handsome young man you've become. I can't tell you how much I regretted leaving, I thought about coming back, or calling you countless times."
Jordan: "then why didn't you?"
Jon: "please, let me finish. Every time I went to call I stopped because I thought you hated me, I thought you wouldn't want to talk to me. Jordan, when your mother called me and said you were in an accident I got here as fast as I could. I couldn't believe that I might have missed out on any chance to get to know my son. But your okay, and I don't want to lose that chance. I'm not asking to be your dad, you're right, it's too late for that. But, Jordan will you let me get to know you."
Jordan: "You can't know how much it hurt me when you left. I thought I made mom cry, I thought you left because I wasn't good enough."
Jon: "Jordan, that had nothing to do with it."
Jordan: "please let me finish. I thought that maybe if I made myself good enough you might come back. So every time I got an A or scored a goal I thought you might come back but you never did. But eventually I gave up I accepted that you were never coming back and that I didn't have a father. But now you are back, and all of the resentment I've held toward you is coming out" he took a breathe "But I need to stop. Yes, I'll let you get to know me."
Jon: "thank you" he said standing he started to go an hug Jordan but stopped. Instead he held out his hand.
Jordan: He was glad he didn't hug him. He shook his hand. "I forgive you" he said quietly. He felt a huge sense of relief, a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. It was something he had held onto for 12 years.
