Jordan: "no! Marina!" he said jumping up and running after her, but he was stopped in his tracks as Karen had jumped down from the tree above and now stood face to face with him. His stomach dropped.

Karen: She had waited for him, she knew he would come after the girls soon enough. She smiled at him evil in her eyes. "so...how do you want to die? I'm thinking maybe I'll..."

Jordan: his normally pale gray eyes shown with intensity. "not now!" he yelled cutting her off. Using all of his strength he used his right arm and shoved her hard into the tree next to them. She crumbled to the ground and he ran to the cliffs. If she didn't want to kill him before now she certainly did.

Karen: she slammed into the tree with her back, her knees buckled. She glared at him as he ran away, fury burned inside of her. She would kill that boy. "I will get you!" she screamed "don't think you're safe!" he had hurt her too much for her to run after him. She would have to wait for another opportunity.
