Jordan: he heard the door open. "that's her." He could tell by the way she opened the door and the way her keys sounded on the table.

Caroline: she walked in "oh, hi Marina, Karen, and you must be Alex" she said remembering the name of Marina's boyfriend.

Caroline: She laughed slightly and opened the door "I was just being polite. How are you doing?"

Jordan: "I'm fine."

Caroline: "oh, okay. Thanks." she went to Jordan's door and knocked though it was still open slightly. Jordan: "you can come in mom." Caroline: She laughed slightly and opened the door "I was just being polite. How are you doing?" Jordan: "I'm fine." Caroline: "what about you Dawn?"

Dawn: "I'm alright, ma'am."

Jordan: "well, I did have to take Marcus to the hospital today. To get him an IV, he couldn't eat anything. And mom, I hate needles. Like a lot. Especially when they're going into my friend."

Caroline: She smiled "you're really doing an incredible job of being there for him. Is he okay now?"

Jordan: "I think so. Lynn and he broke up, but I think they might get back together, he's over there now."

Caroline: "okay. and Jordan, you've always hated needles" she smiled.

Dawn: she curled up on the couch and closed her eyes. She dozed off.

Caroline: "yes. That time when you got stitches when you were little because you were gong to 'fly' off of the kitchen chair, you didn't even cry that much until you saw the needle. Then it was full panic." She moved his hair away from his ear revealing a small scar on the side of his head that was normally hidden by his hair.

Jordan: "I jumped right into a wall."

Caroline: she laughed "yes, you did. I remember my first thought being 'are you okay?' and then 'what on earth were you trying to do?'"

Jordan: "fly" he answered as if it made sense. He laughed. "I love you mom."

Caroline: "I knew that if you had gotten one it would have been much more traumatic than you just walking in."

Jordan: "mom it looked realistic!"

Caroline: "you guys drew it with sharpies!" she laughed again.

Jordan: he smiled "we tried. We wanted you to freak out."

Caroline: "too bad I know you too well."

Jordan: he smiled "yeah, I guess you do."

Caroline: "I love you. I'm going to go take a nap. Work wore me out." she went to her room.

Jordan: "okay. I love you too." he went out and sat between Marina and a sleeping Dawn. He was smiling.
