Chemical Alley PART THREE!

Dawn: "I wish I could take all the pain away."

Marcus: he finished making quite a bit of food. He was sweating and tears were in his eyes as memories had kept returning. But he pushed on. The dishes were plated like a five star chef had plated them, and smelled delicious. He slumped down on the couch and wiped off his forehead.

Dawn: "Is it just me or does it smell really good?"

Jordan: "I know. I want the pain to go away too." he sniffed "oh, something does smell really good." He sat up carefully only wincing slightly.

Karen: she woke up from napping on the couch "Marcus? What are you making it smells incredible."

Marcus: "Um, well, I tried to make a few different things, I wasn't sure what everyone liked so I made a few different things and uh, yeah." He looked down. "Roast beef, salad with ginger dressing, ravioli florentine, potatoes, a-and grilled cheese with fries. I-it's all homemade."

Dawn: "Do you want to go see what it is? I could carry you."

Karen: her eyes widened "wow. That's amazing."

Jordan: "oh, no, that's okay. I can walk." He stood up.

Jordan: "you don't have to downgrade it. I really appreciate it."

Marcus: he looked up slightly. "Really? I just-I thought you might want a welcome home present. I know I'm not supposed to leave, but I went to the store and used the rest of my money from my last job to buy organic, quality ingredients, and made everything by hand. I really did Hope you'd appreciate it. It's really the only thing I'm good at."

Jordan: "oh, wow. You didn't have to do all of that, but I do appreciate it. It's a great welcome home present. Hey mom! Look what Marcus made!"

Caroline: she came out of her room "wow." she smiled.

Marcus: he wasn't used to getting this much attention. His face turned red and he lowered his head.

Jordan: he didn't argue it letting it go. He sat down with his plate and ate happily. Karen: she got a plate and sat down.

Dawn: she took a plate.

Marcus: he watched them all and hoped they liked it.
