I made a reservation for Chefs de France for dinner BUT I'm wondering which is a better value for the TS and which has a better atmosphere, service etc.

You mean Cape May Cafe, right?

I think in terms of value - Cape May will win. It is an all you can eat buffet for around $25. Chefs is a lot more expensive. The entrees alone here are in the $20 range.

Hard to compare a buffet with a French restaurant -but I've eaten at both and enjoyed them both. Service was about equal - both friendly, attentive servers. Atmosphere - the edge goes to Chefs de france, it was just a nice bright, kind of elegant room. I've been to France, and this truly reminded me of a restaurant over there. Nothing wrong with the atmosphere at Cape May. It was a nice room, a mix of tables and booths with brightly covered umbrellas.

Food - I liked them both, but wouldn't rush back to either one. This is not to say I was disappointed in either, just there are so many other restaurants I prefer. I think I prefered Cape May - big selection, better value.
