Chef's Mickey's Breakfast ?-How Long..

I was wondering how long should I expect to be at Chef Mickey's for Breakfast? I'm just trying to figure out what time to make an reservation for? My chooses are 8:10am or 8:40am on the day we plan on going to MK. MK opens at 9am that day. If chose this reservation when do you think we would be at the MK? Or I can chose 9:40am reservation on the day we check out of our hotel and we are planning on going to MGM that day. It will be myself, my husband, 4 DD and 2 DS. We are staying at the WL. If I chose to go to Chef Mickey's on our last day I'm worried about checking out of the hotel, making it to Chef Mickey's on time and then I also have a reservation for the Si-Fi at MGM at 3pm. I'd appreciate any help.

will need at least an hour if you want to see all of the characters. The meal is a buffet and doesn't take that long. The restaurant is large and the characters move around in a circle to ensure they get everyone. Their interaction is interrupted every once in a while by the napkin parade. This year we waited probably fifteen minutes to make sure that we saw Pluto.

we ate there last week and we had seen all the character in a hour and had done the song twice. Of course we sat and watched the action for another 15. The buffet was always full and it was a n ice breakfast.

I don't like to hurry the morning we check out so I would do it another day. You don't want to be rushed it may ruin your experience at Chef Mickey's...When I am rushed I can be crabby

Thanks for your feedback. The more I have thought about it in the past hour I don't think I want to eat at Chef Mickey's on the day we check out and are planning on going to MGM.

Now I'm just trying to decide between the 8:10am or the 8:40am time the day we go to MK. The kids are not usually up early so I will have to wake them up. We plan on going to MK that day only until about 2 or 3pm so that we can get back to WL for a good nap because we are planning on going to the PPP that night at MK. So I keep leaning towards the 8:10am reservation so that we can be at MK around 9:30am but I think my husband might just kill me if I made the reservation that early.

Does anyone know what boat from the WL to the CR we'd have to be on to make the 8:10am reseveration? Do the boats run on every half hour?

To relax and have fun, definitely an hour to 1 1/2 hours! You have a photo opportunity when you walk in that takes some time. Then, you will want to wait until all the characters have made their way around, and that takes a little while also, esp. with everyone taking pictures! I think if you go that late on your MGM day, you will not be hungry until 3pm if you are like us though! It is a good ending to the vacation! Have Fun!
