Chefs de France

Well the May trip is booked and this time I want to eat at restaurants I haven't visited during my previous Disney trips. I'm thinking of Chefs de France (dinner), Le Cellier (lunch; no slot open for dinner), the French Bistro. Any comments and advice would certainly be appreciated.

I liked Chefs de France. Le Cellier was OK.. a decent steak but not worth the very high price if not on the dining plan.

Restaurant Marrakesh is a favorite - not the most popular restaurant, but we like the music and belly dancing, and thought the food was very good. It was fun to do something different.

Biergarten was also nice, a little different with the German music and buffet, lower priced than other places. Buffet was plentiful with variety.

Just off Epcot, we like Flying Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk -- definite winner. But dinner only. Which works out because that's when the entertainers are on the boardwalk right outside the restaurant entrance.

We've eaten at Chefs once 3 years ago and again last September. Our first visit was excellent. Great good and fantastic service. Our more recent visit wasn't so good. Food was very good but service was just horrible. Portions seemed a bit smaller than our prior visit as well.

Le Celliar is always good for their steaks.

Our favorate WDW restaurants are Ohana, Kona, San Angel and Le Celliar.

We're not much for buffets with the exception of Bomas which is great. We also enjoy Tony's. Nothing exceptional about their food, but very good and service has been way above par every time.

For our next trip we will go to our favorates and also try Markessha and Tu Italia which are both new for us.

Bistro is my favorite at Epcot and has always been a great adult dining experience. I prefer lunch at Chefs over dinner. Le Cellier is not a favorite of mine but I prefer dinner there over lunch.

Got to agree with the suggestion for Bistro for dinner. We like the lunch at Chef's de France, but not the dinner there. You might be interested in reading the review I did of these two.

Still on the fence about Chefs but I did book reservations for California Grill and Whispering Canyon Cafe. I figure I have to hear someone yelling Ketchup! at least once during my Disney trips.

We really enjoy Chefs de France for lunch. I love the quiche. It seems like there is an option on the menu for a three course meal that includes dessert and we all enjoy that.

We also prefer LUNCH at LeChef's. The combo is a good deal as PP suggested.
The LeCellier filet is just as good at LUNCH IMO and cost less.
Biergarten is OK but is VERY loud.
