I haven't been to either, so I'm JUST basing this on the zillion dining reviews I've read over the past few months.
I would go with Le Cellier.
Both are supposed to be absolutely beautiful inside (and pictures show this as well!). Chefs de France seems to get mixed reviews, but most who are dining with children have stated that they were disappointed. Noise level, food choices, many have stated that it's just not all that kid-friendly. Others have reported that the food is bland and nothing special.
Le Cellier, on the other hand, seems to get great reviews more often than not. I did hear about that Podcast, but I also heard several people on here argue against that review. Le Cellier has a much better selection for kids, and people have said that the steaks are out of this world. The smores desserts seem to get great reviews (and I've seen pictures-oh my goodness!!

). Cheddar cheese soup seems to have mixed reviews. Pretzel bread seems to get great reviews overall.
It also seems much harder to get an ADR at Le Cellier, which tells me that it must be in higher demand.
Again, this opinion is just based on reviews I've read-and I've read A TON trying to get ready for our trip!!

Reviews seem to point towards Le Cellier.
I"ve been searching through the wonderful and helpful reviews posted on the Dining Reviews section of this board. Several people have been kind enough to post photos of the insides and of their meals. I've found these reviwes very helpful for us in making our ADR's
HTH!
