We are spending the day at Epcot with a 5PM ADR @ Chefs de France, then head over to MNSSHP, what do you think? What is the easiest way to get to the MK from Epcot?

TIA!

Monorail from Epcot to TTC, then from TTC to MK. With that timing you may miss the begining of the party though.

I wouldnt want to rush thru that meal to run and catch the monorail and then the transfer at the ttc....We did Crystal Palace on the night of our Party for both the Halloween and also a Christmas Party....It is so much easier being right there for the start of this fun night...
Hope you have fun

My opinion I wouldn't do it. I look at it like this. Dinner at 5 (providing you get seated at 5 ) over around 6:15/6:20 get out of the park a good hour to travel party starts at 7. Nope I wouldn't do it.

I think you will be fine, MNSSHP is open later than normal so you will have plenty of time to see and do everything....

I guess it depends on what you want to do/see at MNSSHP.

For me, I wouldn't make the run. Depending on service and seating, you'd be lucky to be out of Les Chefs at 6:20. I would be surprised if you got out before 6:40. Walk to the front of the park, wait for the monorail, and get on the monorail - probably around 7:00. By the time you transfer to the MK monorail, get off, get through bag check and get into the park, it will probably be close to 8pm (or later if things don't go smoothly)

Do whatever works best for your group though!

I agree that it depends on what you want to see. DH and I have had 5 or 6 PM ressies outside of the MK before and things have worked out just great. However, we usually also plan on the later parade and on just going on whatever catches our interest and we usually eat on the monorail line somewhere (Narcooseess or catch the WL launch after WCC).

We go often enough that we don't feed we miss anything by getting to the park a little later.

Chefs might be a bit of a stretch since it may take a while to eat and you have a long walk out of Epcot and a monorail change.

We have 5:50 ressie at CRT on the night of the MNSSHP, because we find it is just easier to be in the park at the beginning with a small child.

Have fun!

It's doable, but I probably wouldn't do it. We did a 5:35 LTT on a MVMCP party and I felt like that party flew by and we were already in the park. Though, I suppose I'm a little hypocritical because we're doing a 5:10 CRT for our MNSSHP. Just think about what you're trying to get out of the party. If you're going for the parade, fireworks, shows, etc then you are not going to miss anything. If you are going to be disappointed if you don't get to ride a fair amount of rides, then don't do it.

I wouldn't.Les Chefs only opens at 5pm for dinner , it sometimes takes awhile to be seated( last time we waited till 30 mins past adr time). Then it is generally a slow, leisurely type meal.Transportation can take awhile too.You will be cutting it too close and that is way too much valuble party time to lose

If you don't mind not arriving for MNSSHP at 7:00 PM then I guess you should be able to do this and it's easy getting to the Magic Kingdom by the Monorail from Epcot - TTC and then from there using the Express Monorail - Magic Kingdom.

You can go into MK early-4:00- with your MNSSHP ticket, so I see it as missing about half of your park time. I would move Chefs to another time/date so you don't have to compromise either experience.

Definitely wouldn't do it. You pay so much for MNSSHP. We didn't get to MK until about 6pm (party doesn't start until 7pm) and we missed time just eating dinner at CS. We won't make that mistake again. We'll go at 4pm when we are allowed in, eat an early dinner, ride any rides we want to ride before 7pm, and then enjoy the party to the fullest. We stayed right til the end last year and STILL missed a lot!

If you do decide to eat at Chefs, i would head over to BC and take the MK bus from there direct to MK, would be fastest way. But I do agree with the other posters, I would head to MK at 4 and eat there.

Good luck with your decision!:cool1:

Hummmm, I thought I had the ADR thing all set.............:headache:

Now you all have given me things to think about........:confused3

First THANKS for your input!!!!

With the MNSSHP during this trip, and looking at our park schedule/plans we will be going to the MK 2 other days AND during EMH pm, so doing the rides are not that important. We want to take in the party and all that is different in the MK, ToTing, parade, fireworks, villian picture/meets, what else? Are there places to catch a cab to get to the MK faster?? My kids are 12 & 16 and we will be staying till the VERY end so what are your thoughts now???:)

You can walk out the IG to the Beach Club resort, go thru the lobby and out front and call a cab from there .
