Chef Mikey for Breaksfast or Dinner?

We have to make our ADRs this week and I can't decide if we should do CM for breakfast or dinner. Any advice?

We have been to both, and my family prefers the breakfast. Here's what we do that works great for us. We schedule the breakfast at the last available seating time (usually around 11). we try to schedule it on a day that the MK has an early extra hour. We go to MK for the morning and right about when the park is getting a little crowded we hop on the monorail to CM for our brunch. Then we eat like piggies and arent hungry again until dinner. My kids love the breakfast pizza here.

We have eaten both meals at CM. We definitely would choose Breakfast! Just our humble opinions, yet we found the hustle & bustle of CM to be a tad overwhelming for dinner after a day in the parks-yet a perfect way to start a day in Disney!

Our family loves the dinner. I know there have been mixed reviews, but we always havea nice meal there. The thing is, we are not big brekfast eaters, so dinner just works better for us. I tell my friends that if they love a big breakfast, then go for it! I am more into the dinner and the desserts. It depends on what your family likes to eat more of!

No matter which you chose, this is one fun place and the character interaction is great!

Honestly I don't think you can go wrong here. I haven't tried the breakfast but we aren't big breakfast eaters. The dinner was very good and the characters, and lets face it that's the real reason we go, were great!

Another vote for dinner, here. We just like it better, but we do all of our big meals at dinner - seems to be better value for our DDP credits, plus we are not big breakfast eaters. My "little Minnies" like to dress up and dinner is an easier time for this. We have also found character interaction better at dinner.

We also love the dinner. Again we are not big breakfast eaters and it just makes more sense for us to spend our money on dinner. I love the desserts and the characters are always great!!

Hopefully you aren't calling during the free dining time! I'm having trouble getting in to CM for dinner!

If you are staying on site, think about how you will get there if you have an early ADR, too. I'm not sure how early the busses run to the Contemp. from other hotels.

We only went to dinner once. It was sooo crowded and long lines to get in (even with ADR) and long lines at the buffet, but it was so much fun the lines were worth it. When I called, I could get in most days for breakfast for free dining time but dinner went fast. I think dinner would be less crowded and a late brunch would be great

We enjoyed the breakfast so much on our last trip. But we are going to try dinner on our upcoming trip. Although, I think DH and DS's will eat there while DD and I do CRT for breakfast one morning.

If you are staying on site, think about how you will get there if you have an early ADR, too. I'm not sure how early the busses run to the Contemp. from other hotels.

I think the busses from all resorts start running very early to MK due to CRT. Our bus driver just dropped us off at the CR on the way. We made our 7:30 am reservation no problem.
