We will be in the World Jan 25 - Feb 1, 2003 and am not sure when I would need to make ressies for breakfast with the Mouse at the Contemporary. Or do you think during the off season we would be able to get seated without a ressie?:)

Thanks:bounce:

We will be there at the same time. I would make a PS for sure. This is my dh's fav place at WDW. The interaction is great and the food very good! I wouldn't be dissapointed.

even though this is considered a "slow" period i would make PS for all the sit-downs. would rather have them and not need them than need them and don't have them. http://pscalculator.net/pscalc.shtml try going to this site to help determine when to call. happy eating and welcome home!:p

I would make PS for Chef Mickey's. We are going in a couple of weeks (Sept. is generally a slower time at WDW) and the earliest PS available was for 10:30 ( I tried 3 dates) and this is a little too late for breakfast for us. However, I did call back and was able to get 9:30.

:) Thanks for all the great replies!

I'll be bringing my two daughters, 25 and 30 for their first trip and want to surprise them. Thought we'd do Chef Mickey's for me and Crystal Palace for them.

Thanks also for the link to the PS Calc. I love the report it prints out! Also thanks for the Welcome Home! :bounce:

Go for the PS. The same thing happened to us last September, too. I figured it was the slow time and did not call at 120 days out. Well the times for breakfast were already booking up. Luckily, I took a 7:45am, a little early, but we made it to MK before the 9am general opening (back in the glory days of EE).

We do CM for breakfast or dinner every trip and I called for our upcoming December trip's dinner at 120 days out. We got our choice of times.

With the PS, you get what you want for when you want and then you are not disapointed.

Totally agree- if you make your ps 120 days out you will get the time and the day you want. If you have your heart set on a certain restaurant for a certain day go for the ps, then you won't have to worry. We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast!!!

I would definitely use PS. We are going 6 Oct and I only just tried for this character breakfast. I was only offered one morning at 10.15 which I have taken - will have to forgo early park day. I'm hoping that if I phone again something else might be available but it's a bit pricey as I'm in the Uk

We just got back on Sunday and during our stay had a brilliant breakfast at Chef Mickey's the boys 40, 10 and 6 were so excited and we had a brilliant photo taken when we arrived. They especially loved the monorail going through and took great delight in waving at the passengers - I hope that you enjoy your breakfast as much as we did.
