I'm wondering if I make an ADR for Chef Mickey's for breakfast do we have to be going to the Magic Kingdom that day?

How do you get to the Contempory by car (we will be staying off site)? Do you park in the MK parking lot? Or would we get to park closer to the hotel if we have breakfast reservations? If we do want to schedule an early breakfast there can we just hop the monorail to the MK and then return via monorail at the end of the day to get to our car?

Thanks for any input.

You can park at the Contemporary for breakfast, but they will usually give you a pass for a few hours, you will not be able to park there for the entire day.

Have a great trip and enjoy Chef Mickey's. It is a lot of fun!!

As far as the other part of your question, no you do not have to be going to the park that day. We did Chef Mickey's a couple of years ago and so far, it has been the best character breakfast that we have had yet. I am sure you will enjoy it very much.

We were there exactly two weeks ago for dinner.
We drove right up to the Contemporary Gate about 5 p.m.
We'd been there for Chef Mickey's before so we knew we could park in the lot there.

This time though, we were eating on a night that MK would be having evening EMH...so we asked the gate guard if after dinner could we go over to MK & just leave our car in the lot & come back & get it at 11 p.m.

He said that usually we would have to leave right after dinner but that since "the boss wasn't there, we could stay as long as we liked".

We walked over after dinner, but at 11 p.m. it was cold so we took the Monorail back.

If we went for breakfast towards the end of breakfast hours, do you miss out on the characters?
