Which one would you prefer for breakfast and why?
Trying to decide which one to do.
Thanks

We've not done Ohana since they switched it to Stitch (who we do not like at all) from Minnie and friends and went from a buffet to family style). Chef Mickey's is okay for breakfast (at least it is better than dinner), but we prefer Cape May Cafe. We think the food is better and the character interaction is awesome (it is our favorite character breakfast after Crystal Palace).

We'd pick Cape May! We loved it the two times we ate there. The food was hot, fresh and delicious, the characters (Minnie, Donald and Goofy) were fabulous and our server was great. It was a relaxing way to start our day.

We have no plans of doing CM's again. It was loud, chaotic, the food was horrible, the buffet area nasty from spilled, splattered and dropped food that had not been cleaned up, the characters were far too rushed, our server was rude and Mickey skipped our table.

I can't say anything about Ohana because we have not done it yet but we plan to do it in March.

We're not big breakfast eaters, but we have done Cape May once. I thought the food was ok (again, not a breakfast eater), but we did find the character interaction to be the best of any character meal we have done before. For that reason I'd pick Cape May.

Been to all. Definately Chef Mickey's. The best Disney feeling resturant around. Always will pick this one over the others for breakfast lunch or dinner.
Ohana & Cape May are good to .

I pick my restaurants as much for location as for the food. On an Epcot or DHS day I'd go to Cape May. On a Magic Kingdom day I'd choose between 'Ohana and Chef Mickey. I haven't had breakfast at either. Are you trying to get to the park for rope drop? If yes then I'd choose Chef Mickey because it's an easy walk over rather than having to wait for transportation at Poly. If it's not then I'd ask you about the ages of your kids because if your kids are younger then the family style dining at 'Ohana is so much easier than buffet because you don't have to get up from your table like you do at Chef Mickey. Unless of course your family has a preference for certain characters in which case I'd say go to whichever has the preferred characters. IMO breakfast food is breakfast food and there's not a lot of difference between them (you can check out the menus on wdwinfo or allears).

Last year we eat at CMs for breakfast - it was good but it was really busy as you can expect and v loud. We also eat at Ohanas for dinner and breakfast and I have to say, it was one of our favourites of the whole trip (and we eat at most Disney restaurants). The atmosphere and the 'family' feel was brilliant! The coconut bread is so yummy and the theming is great. Lilo and Stitch were great fun too. Go for Ohanas...I would every time!

All 3 are very good - I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. We especially like Chef Mickey's & Ohana and do both of these for breakfast on our trips.

We love Chef Mickey's: very fun atmosphere + you get to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald & Pluto, breakfast buffet is pretty good

Ohana is also a favorite: love the polynesian atmosphere, very good character interaction - Stitch & Pluto are especially hilarious! good food served family style, and fun parade for kids who follow characters around restaurant playing the maracas

Cape May: the most relaxed character meal in WDW IMO, probably the best character interaction of all character meals, only downside to Cape May is there are only 3 characters: Minnie, Goofy & Donald in swimwear

I would go with Chef Mickey's because everyone seems to say their breakafst is very good, the atmosphere is great, the character interaction is amazing and you get to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto all at one location.

I like CM too..but my fave breakfast is 1900 Park Fare
