Which would you choose? I'm stuck trying to decide. We have never been to either. I hear great things about Chef Mickey's but I would love to check our the Beach club Resort. Any thought???

WELL,, we would choose Chef Mickey's because of the ease of getting to the resort, as we do not have a vehicle with us. Are you planning on going for breakfast or dinner? It may be a bit harder to get to the Beach Club in the morning. I have heard others say that they had trouble getting there because you can't take a direct bus to the resort.

It would be for breakfast. We also are spending that day in Epcot so we thought it would be nice to just walk into the Showcase after. Also Chef Mickey's is proving very hard to get an ADR, I have one lined up at the Cape May. I'm still calling for Chef Mickey's though.....

We like Chef Mickey, we go every trip. Just a suggestion, try Chef Mickeys & go to Beaches and Cream :mickeybar at the Beach Club for an ice cream treat. Very good ice cream! That way you get to check out the Beach Club.

We've never done Chef Mickeys for breakfast, but we have for dinner many times and like it. We've also done Cape May for breakfast many times and love it too! I would say go with Cape May.

Loved the Cape May Character Breakfast- it was not crazy and hectic.
We've only ever done Chef Mickey's for dinner.

If I had to pick just one, I would do Cape May. More my speed, food was delicious. We then walked to Epcot. it was a fabulous start to our day.

Tip... we asked the DHS bus to drop us off after he dropped off the DHS guest. This tip was from our concierage and the bus driver accomodated us. Mind you this was in January at 730 am! :goodvibes

They are both amazing breakfasts (Chef Mickey pics in my March link and Cape May in my Oct link) and we love them both...I decide which to go to depending on where we are staying...they do have very similar foods but Chef Mickeys has 2 more characters than Cape May and Cape May is alot quieter than Chef Mickeys

I have been to each once. I found the Cape May cafe to be quieter and less hectic. Also, the characters are wearing their old-time swim suits, which is very cute. It may have just been the luck of the day I was there, but the characters spent more time with us because it was less busy.

But the transportation question is a good one, so if you will not have a car maybe Chef Mickey's would be better.

Cabs are cheap and stress free...Another option is to take the bus to DHS then walk to the Beach Club....

We love both breakfasts but if I had to choose I think I would choose Cape May....IFood is about the same and we love both sets of characters but I really like that Cape has a quiet atmosphere.

If you are at Epcot, you cannot beat the ease of walking to the Beach Club and Cape May. I love them both and have done them both numerous times.

I like Chef Mickey's for dinner but much prefer Cape May for breakfast. I have found the food to be better and its not so hectic. I love fun and love character meals, but when you get a bunch of kids in the morning, all psyched to be going to the parks, it can be very chaotic! Cape May feels like a lot of fun and is lively, but nothing like Chef Mickey's. For some reason in all the times we have done Chef M's for dinner, its never been that hectic, esp if you go a bit later.

However, if Mickey is your thing, stick with Chef Mickey's, he's not at Cape May.

Thanks for all your help :thumbsup2 Now I'm not going to stress about calling Disney everyday to try and get an ADR for Chef Mickeys (although I am still trying for Le Cellier :wizard:)
