Chef Mickeys question

We have a 8:00pm reservation at Chef Mickeys on Apr. 23rd. We will be at the Magic Kingdom up till that. Is there a convenient way to get to there from MK? It seems I heard something about a walkway or some such?

Yes, you can walk to the Contemporary from MK. Take the path that leads past the bus stops. You will be crossing a 2-lane road with a traffic signal (leads to cast parking) and walking alongside the parking lot for the Contemporary/BLT.

You can walk, but we usually take the monorail. It goes straight there!

By the time you get to the monorail station, you would be about halfway to the Contemporary if you had gone in the other direction, so if speed is of the essence and you don't mind walking, do the walking.

We mainly take the monorail because at the end of a long day at MK our legs and backs hurt and we're exhausted, so we'd much rather sit down on the monorail than walk even more. Plus we like taking the monorail! Timewise it just depends on your luck, you could end up having to wait a while if the monorail has just left, but when the monorail is right there it's definitely quicker than walking. Although that happens to us quite often, you really can't count on that though. Just play it by ear, see what you feel like on the day
