It's getting close to the mark where I can call and get PS for Chef Mickey's and was wondering how hard they are to get. I've been reading the tips about Cindy's and am going to try that but if I don't get Cindy's, I want to have Chef Mickey's.

Do I have to call on the exact day to get seats for dinner at a decent hour? Or do I have some time?

Thanks...

We have never had problems getting priority seating at Chef Mickey's.
Although it is very popular, the place is really large and holds a lot of people. I believe that it's much harder at the castle because it doesn't have anywhere near the room that Chef Mickey's has.
Enjoy!

I'd second wdwgoofeeee's comments - we've dined at Chef Mickey's for breakfast several times and never had a problem getting PS even two to three weeks out. A lot depends on what time of year you are going though. I would call when you hit the "magic mark" just to be safe but it shouldn't be a problem for you. It is a good breakfast and we had lots of character interaction.

It's not a character breakfast but Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is also awesome!

We were there the end of january last year and tried to get into Chef Mickey's last minute and could not unless we wanted to eat after 8:30. We tried for the entire week and nothing openned up. While it's not hard usually to get in, just don't do like us and expect to get ressies after arriving. It was during an extremely slow time, so I was a little shocked. I will have ressies the next time. I personnally like eating at this resort at 5:00 because everything is hot, and the bar is neat. later in the evening can be a diaster. Since we are staying there in July, we will plan it better. Eat then go back to MK.

Thanks everyone! We did the same thing, we stayed in January 2002 (REAL low attendence) and called for ressies while we there and couldn't get in before 9:00pm. Same thing in May. So this time I'll call ahead of time but I won't be setting my watch.

Come March though I've got my game plan ready to try for Cindy's!!!

Thanks again!

I usually call the first day I can, just so I can get what I want.

But, you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to call

:p
