We have a 9:15p.m. ps for Chef Mickeys (the only time available). Has anyone ever gone that late? We want to be sure the food & the characters will still be fresh!

It was also suggested that just walking up can be successful. So, we were thinking of arriving around 8 p.m. to see if we could get seated earlier. Has anyone had good luck with this?

We had late PS on a Sunday night the first night of our trip in 01. We had a blast because it wasn't as crowded at the buffet and the Characters were goofing around allot with our waiter. We were the last people at a table in our section when we left. I got some great pictures of Chip and Dale goofing around climbing on things, Chip took the waiters tie and put it on and was dancing around, falling in the floor, giving our waiter a hard time. My husband said he sure was glad we came late.

We had 5pm. PS the trip before and the Characters have so many people to interact with they don't have as much time to spend at each table. But it was still nice. Just nothing like what we got to experience on that late night visit.

If it were me...

9:00 is too late. I'd be way too hungry and tired. I would have been so hungry by then that I would have eaten someplace else, and it's a lot of money to pay to not eat (although the food there is like paste IMHO anyhow.)

If you have kids, how realistic is it to try to drag them out to a dinner that starts that late? Only you can decide, but had it been my son, he would have either been miserable or asleep by the time we were seated.

Just my two cents.

I have just made a 8.00 p.m. ps for our first night meal in October. We will have been travelling all day and figure it will be a nice start to our holiday.

I agree with Teri1, we love late seatings as does our toddler son. The characters are more present as there are less diners to meet and greet. Good food supply. Some people will push their ideas on you. I say you know your children and if they are alright at night then go for it. I am sure you will find the experience fun and the food good.
