Does anyone have any pictures of Chef Mickey's to share (specifically from the breakfast timeframe)? I hear such varied reviews of this restaurant about its crazy atmosphere. :cheer2: :dance3: :yay:  It seems to be beloved and not-so-loved. My son will be 18-24 months the next time we visit WDW and I'm trying to decide whether to put this in our plans. If it's completely out of control, I may skip it and do a slightly quieter breakfast with Mickey somewhere else, like Tusker House. DS is mainly a fan of Mickey and Donald, fyi.

TIA!
(PS - I'm not really looking for food pics, just general crowd/character/restaurant pics).

we went last year and it was not bad at all.... we sat off to the side. there was a family there that drove us nuts because they had out of control kids but besides that it was fine. Our DD was 2 at the time... had a blast.

I have pics of my kids with the characters from Chef Mickeys......don't know if it will help you at all but I can post if you like.

I have some but I am not sure how to put them onto this site -- I LOVE CHEF MICKEY for Breakfast (I have never done dinner there) -- It is so great and so much fun -- I think there is plenty for you child to look at and be entertained -- it is colorful and every 45 minutes the characters sing and dance!

I have 5 boys and when they were younger they loved this place for breakfast & dinner. We could never skp it. We still go every year .:worship:

We didn't find it too chaotic at all. Our 2 month old wasn't over stimulated by it. It could also be because we weren't in the main room. We were in the upper room overlooking MK. It was really calm up there. Overall though, when I went to the buffet in the main room, I didn't notice it being overly loud or hectic. Maybe I was just used to the noise of Disney by then, lol ;).

We loved this meal! We were going to do it again in Nov, but have decided to try Tusker House for breakfast and get early entry into AK.

Here are some of my kids. We had a 10:40 am ADR on check out day and got there about 10 and they seated us right away. It was busy but not overly chaotic. We were in the section when you walk in it's directly to the left and overlooks the CR pool.

I have character pictures, too, which are similar to what has been posted and you can't really see the other people in the background due to where we sat. The characters at CM were rushed with us, whereas at other character meals, we seemed to have more time/interaction with them. We had a 7:10 AM ressie at CM and even that early, the place was full.

I have heard good things about the Cape May breakfast, which has Mickey as well. It's not as crowded and a bit quieter. I think next time we'd probably try that one instead of Chef Mickey's.
