Can you park at the Contemporary to go to breakfast at Chef Mickey's? After breakfast, can you just leave your car there and go to MK or do you have to move it?

You will be given a 3 hour pass to park at the Contemporary but may be denied parking there if the lot is at capacity. If your car is not moved after 3 hours it will be towed. The Contemporary is very strict with this policy since many will park there and stay. You will be given a parking pass for your dashboard with your 3 hour time written on it. If you are going to MK after Chef Mickey's park in the TTC and take the resort monorail to the Contemporary, then go to the MK after your meal.

When you arrive at the security gate, they will check to verify that you do in fact have an ADR. They will then issue you a temporary parking permit that is only good for a few hours (3 if memory serves me right). So, unless you're planning a quick trip to the parks, you risk being towed if you leave it there.

Good Luck!

I'm not sure if we'll be more than 3 hours or not, since we plan on going to a waterpark that day, also. How early does the TTC open? Does anyone know what time the busses start running from the resorts to the TTC? We could either drive or ride the bus.

You will most likely get a three-hour parking pass to be placed on your dashboard while you dine and then yes, you will have to move your car to a park's parking lot.

Yes, you'll get a 3 hour pass. They are very strict about this policy in the early hours as they know what many people do. Get in with a PS and then stay in the CR parking lot for the day while they are at MK. They have this policy in effect to avoid people doing this.

They aren't always quite as strict in the evening hours.

Resort parking is meant for guests staying at the resort or other guests partaking of the services of the resort (dining, shopping, watersports, etc). Not for theme park parking.

There would really be no advantage in leaving your car there all day if you're planning to go to a waterpark after breakfast anyway. You would have to wait on a bus to take you and then on a bus to take you back to your car, makes no sense. It would probably be quicker to park at the waterpark. Once you're done you can just hop in your car and go back to your resort.
