We're going in October and I was able to get an ADR for Chef Mickey's for Saturday, 10/18 that I'm going to have to cancel. On Sunday, 10/19, we have an ADR for WCC. We've never been to either. We have 2 boys - an immature 13 and 8. We have one other character meal for the trip - CP for breakfast on our last morning.

Which one would you choose?

I VOTE FOR CHEF MICKEY'S:cheer2:

I have eaten at WCC for breakfast and I was not impressed. :sad2: I have heard mixed reviews on CM. Their menu for breakfast looks a little more varied than that of WCC. :thumbsup2 Have you ever thought of Boma, Kona, CP, 1900 Park Fare, or Cape May? With the exception of Kona, all are buffets. Boma is the only buffet without characters. I think all of the above are exceptional to WCC.
Good luck with your decision. It is more difficult to plan dining reservations than to plan your itinerary for visiting the parks. To me, it is my favorite part of planning our trip.:teacher:

Don't get me wong WCC IS Good food & fun but Nothing in my book can top Chef Mic's all the way around it's #1.:thumbsup2

I Love Chef Mickey's! The celebrations that they have are so much fun and the food is great! It has different characters than CP too so it would be a great experience for the kids

I would choose CM. We go there every year.. We went to WCC last year and weren't impressed. I loved seeing the hotel, but we ordered the skillet meal and did not care for it.

thanks for all the responses. I just tried Disney dining and the only thing available for the night we want is 8:15 PM. I will keep trying though.

Have you thought of taking that time just so you have the ADR and can try to change it later on, or is 8:15 PM not going to work for you so you don't want to be stuck with it?

I don't want to get stuck with a dinner ADR that late for that day. Funny - cause on our cruise next year we asked for late seating. We're going to MK that day and will be done by middle-late afternoon most likely. There is a MNSSHP that night. It's OK - I'll just keep WCC for now (ADR at 5:35 PM) and I'll keep calling. You never know - there might be a cancellation.
