I was at Chef Mickey's at the beginning of October with my friend. I'm 23 and she's 25. I've been plenty of times with adult friends and my parents (i.e. no kids!) without problems. This time was different. We were seated really quickly after checking in (yay!) but were seated in a room that the characters were just leaving...ok, no biggie, I figured they were just moving through the restaurant quickly that day.
So we got our food, sat down, enjoyed it, etc. Got seconds, our waitress came with our bill. Everyone else in the room started leaving. No sign of characters. They started seating everyone else who had checked in right around the same time as us. Our waitress came back to check to see if we had paid yet. Ummm...I know I'm a "grown up," but why would I pay that much money for breakfast if I didn't want to see the characters? And why would I be wearing my Minnie Mouse ears? She came back again... We were obvsiouly seated in that room because we were 2 adults and were trying to be rushed through breakfast so they could turn the table. I wasn't pleased. We stayed for every character that came through
In all fairness, that was the first time that had happened, but it shouldn't have happened at all. For my family's trip in February, we're going to Cape May Cafe.
