HELP!!! We will be at the magic kingdom for our final night in disney and decided to do a buffet. We cant decide between Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace. All opinions are more than welcome.

Thanks to you all in advance. :thumbsup2 :teeth: :thumbsup2

Both places have the same type of food, I think. The only difference is the characters.

Winnie the Pooh and Friends at CP
Mickey and Friends at CM

My opinion is not based on anything because we've only done breakfast at CM & lunch at CP but I'd choose CP. I just think it's a prettier restaurant plus you wouldn't have to leave the park to get there. If Spectro is that night, it's worth staying to see! The characters were great & we enjoyed sitting at a table along the outer wall. CM feels hectic to me but CP was not as bad, imo.

I agree with StephMK - CP. The food is good, diverse, and fresh, and you won't have to leave the park to get there. Nothing wrong with Chef Mickey's, just going to eat an extra hunk of time to get basically the same food and characters which are everywhere anyway (it's much easier to find Mickey and Minnie out and about than it is Pooh and friends).

Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll love it!

I would do crystal Palace because it has, not rare, but different characters than the normal Mickey ect. If you have time, go to both!!!! There both really good! They have the same food, most of the time.

Chef Mickeys= Micky Mouse ::MickeyMo +Minnie Mouse ::MinnieMo +Donald Duck :donald: +Chip+Dale+Goofy :goofy: +(some times) Daisy.

Crystal Palace= Winnie the Pooh pooh: + Eeyore :eeyore: +Tigger :tigger: +(99% of the time)Piglet+(10% of the time) Rabbit.

Another vote here for Crystal Palace!

We are having dinner here next month!

OK so I would say Chef Mickeys if for lunch/dinner as they have a better food selection but Crystal palace if its for breakfast as this is better there.

Crystal Palace! its right there at MK and its so close to the castle :cool1:

Normally I would say Chef Mickey's. It has a really fun atmosphere and the characters are awesome. We definitely liked Chef Mickey's better of the two. We went twice on our trip. However, it sounds like the Crystal Palace might be better for you. It's in the MK so you don't have to leave the park, the location of the restaurant itself is pretty wonderful (right in the "hub), and you get to meet the Pooh characters which aren't as easy to find as the Mickey Mouse ones.

The Crystal Palace is a beautiful restaurant. The food was nothing to write home about, but it's fine. You don't go for the food anyway, you go for the experience. I may have liked Chef Mickey's better, but I still loved the Crystal Palace. You won't be disappointed :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Maybe it should depend if you would rather be around pooh & friends or mickey & friends.

We've done both, but prefer Chef Mickeys (love the napkin twirling)...

We really like CP but CM is our favorite - we eat there for dinner twice each trip!!

Rabbit at CP???? I have never seen him there but would love to (haven't seen Rabbit anywhere actually).

I prefer Crystal Palace (by a lot!), but I think kids that aren't into Winnie the Pooh might prefer Chef Mickey's.

Rabbit was there during our January trip, but not our May trip.

Chef Mickey. Much more fun and food is better in our opinion. It's a perfect way to end a trip to Disney World!!!

Both places are very good. But since it's your final night there, I would go to Crystal Palace. It's right there in MK and you wouldn't have to lose any time by going to Chef Mickey's. Have a great time :)
