We have Easter Sunday breakfast ADR at Askerhaus, but thinking of changing since we will see princesses now at CRT. If we change, would you recommend Chef Mickey's or Cape May for breakfast? We'd like to see Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. We've done Chef Mickey's a couple times, but never Cape May. Thanks for the advice!

I'm not a big breakfast eater and have never been to Chef Mickey's. However, I did the Cape May for breakfast and I was not impressed with it. We were staying at the YC and had an early afternon flight home and decided to do a walk in and try it before heading to the airport. I won't go back. Again, this opinion is coming from someone who is not a big breakfast eater.

Haven't Done Chef Mickey's but have done Cape May Dinner 4 times...

I'd vote for Chef MIckey's from what I've heard from friends...

Better yet... "Ohana Breakfast...

Hugs,
Mary

I haven't been to Chef Mickey's since it was at DTD, so I don't have a opinion on it.

I really liked Cape May. They food was very good, the service was good, and the characters came by our table 3 times!!! It was relatively 'quiet' for a character meal, and as an adult I appreciated that. I understand that Chef Mickey's is known for being one of the most boisterous and high-volume meals on property.

However, Cape May does NOT have Mickey. They have Minnie, Goofy, and Donald. So if seeing Mickey is a big concern, you should go with Chef Mickey's.

Cape May was fantastic when we went in december! It's not as hectic as other character meals. It does not seem to be as crowded and the character interaction was great! The food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend it in a heart beat! We enjoyed it so much we're going back in March.

Good luck deciding! :)

We've done Chef Mickey's breakfast a couple times and always liked it. Never have done Cape May, though.

Definitely prefer Cape May Cafe over CM's--the food is better and the character interaction is 100 times better. The only thing is at Cape May you'll have Minnie, Goofy and Donald...no Mickey.

If you haven't been to Cape May yet then I would try it out. We went for breakfast there a few years ago and it was nice. Either place you go you will get the same food though:thumbsup2

We love Cape May Cafe Breakfast, it is a must do each time we are there. The food is always hot and fresh, it is not as hectic as CM, and the character interaction is much better. At Chef Mickey's the characters are more rushed, whereas at Cape May the characters actually interact with adults and children...they spend more time at each table, plus we have had it where they came around a second time and did the same thing. Funny thing, for our upcoming March trip, I originally was not going to book Cape May (thinking of trying something else) and when DH and both DDs found out about it, :scared1: I didn't hear the end of it. So guess where we are going for breakfast one morning :rotfl:

We have only done CM for dinner, not breakfast. However, we did Cape May for breakfast last trip and really enjoyed it. It was a very quiet enjoyable character meal. LOTS of character interaction, slow pace, lots of great food, and fun setting. We love going to CM too but if you want to try something different I don't think you'd be disappointed with Cape May.

We have done both, we prefer Chef Mickey's.
We were not impressed at all with Cape May!!

Chef Mickey!!!!! :thumbsup2

We love Chef Mickey's breakfast and is a "must do" for us. Cape May is good, but the buffet is a little more limited compared to Chef Mickey's, IMO. Plus with Chef Mickey's you get 5 characters: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald & Pluto compared to only 3 at Cape May: Minnie, Donald & Goofy.
