Chef Mickeys or Back yard BBQ

Hello all-

We are going to be in WDW and i am torn between mickey bbq or Chef mikeys which did you like best? We've done the bbq and loved it any and all suggestions would be great?

i haven't done the bbq, so not much to compare to.

are you going with little ones?

If not, i think that Chef Mickey's would be a good choice. we have been there for breakfast and dinner. although i like them both, I think that their dinner is better.

Give Chef Mickey's a try. there is also good character interaction. Besides coming to your table for breakfast, they have a little cute napkin twirling song and dance thing every hour. If you do have little ones, they'll enjoy it. If you don't, go anyways, YOU will enjoy it too!

I've done both and I would highly recommend Chef Mickey's over the BBQ. If you encounter bad weather for the BBQ as we did, everyone is jammed into the picnic area. This would have been a lot more fun if we had good weather, but as it happened a major downpour burst and didn't let up the rest of the night. Everyone was jammed packed under the picnic area which caused it to be extremely loud....really over the top loud. The kids had fun, but were anxious to leave as it was too loud for them to really enjoy either. No room to dance to the music or to play games. Chef Mickey's all the way!
