Okay, I know they added a lunch service at CM's during Free Dining, and we currently have a VERY late breakfast there. Initially I was hoping that this would allow us more time with the characters - but now it looks as though we'll be shuffled out to clear the restaurant for the lunch people.

I would consider changing to the earliest lunch seating instead - but we had dinner there in '06 and even though we loved the characters, we weren't overly impressed with the food at dinner (we had an ADR for the earliest seating time - food was fresh and hot, just not great).

Anyway, we heard breakfasts there were better in terms of food - but I'm curious about the lunch menu - I haven't been able to find one. Since they technically haven't even started having lunches there yet - does it even exist?

Any help is greatly appreciated - Thanks!!!

Interesting about them having lunch. I also have a late breakfast ressie
(10:45 if I recall correctly) and I refuse to be rushed out. Oh well...they can clean up around me-LOL!

we had lunch there in 06. i wasnt too impressed with it, but i guess the food isnt really whats drawing you in.
i dont completely remember what they had, but i remember lots of pasta dishes, a fish dish, pizza, chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes...sorry i just cant really remmeber. but i do remember there was no dessert bar, only some cookies and ice cream.

but i also want to add if you want to change your ressie, i would call now. they opened luch ressies over a month ago, so i dont know what would be left.

They don't make people leave between breakfast and lunch. They just gradually will switch the buffet to lunch foods. IN places with 2 lines they keep 1 as breakfast and 1 as lunch for awhile but I'm not sure that they have the space for that at Chef M.

Lots of people like late breakfast times because they can have some of each meal. If you know that's not the case for you I would show up maybe 30 minutes early for your ADR and explain that you really want breakfast and not lunch foods.

This might actually be okay - our kids generally only eat the most basic stuff, and it sounds like what they'll be serving is the kind of food that's pretty hard to totally screw up. In other words, nothing outstanding, but okay.

I didn't realize that. Okay, might as well not change anything then. Our ADR is for 11:00am - my guess is that will pretty much guarantee being there for at least an hour - and I think lunch dishes will be out by noon.

We'll just take this as a nice bonus then.

Thanks for the replies!
