It is a character meal. Mickey,Minnie, Chip, Dale, Goofy and Donald are there. It is a great time. The food is a buffet with a great variety. We always do this our 1st night in WDW. If you go have a great time.

ALL EARS...if you look at the page that is BUFFET dining at WDW...the Breakfast says--CHARACTER....not the dinner...just wonderin!!!

DD and DH aren't much of breakfast eaters..lol....but i surely am!

mickey and the gang are there for breakfast and dinner. so, you can meet mickey, minnie, goofy, chip and dale, pluto and donald with no problem. the food is a buffet style, so eat all you want. there's a party every 20 minutes. it's a lot of fun.

Is donald always there? On the past trips we just never seem to run in to him and my family is dying to see him. If I remember right when we went to Chef Mickey's a few years back he wasn't there. Thanks! I can't wait to go to Chef Mickey's in 2 Saturday's(June 18)!

Wh had dinner there May20 (BTW, it was out 1st night in Disney and it was an AWESOME way to start out our vacation) and Donald was there but he was in the front of the restaurant by the hostess. You had to go up to him and then you could get his autograph and pics. He was definitely there. My girls had an adorable picture with him!

When we went in May (for breakfast and dinner)-- Donald was only at the dinner and he didn't walk around he was stationed at the front for pictures.

Chef Mickey's - Contemporary Resort - Relocated during 1996 to the Contemporary, Chef Mickey's serves breakfast and dinner with Chef Mickey, Chip, Dale and Chef Goofy. The breakfast buffet offers the usual items - eggs, breads, meats, fresh fruit, etc. At dinner there is a salad bar, peel and eat shrimp, soups, hot entrees, breads, carved meats, vegetables, desserts and an ice cream bar with a great variety of toppings. All characters visit guests tables except Goofy who seems to holds court in the waiting area. Breakfast $17.99-A and $9.99-C. Dinner $26.99-A/$11.99-C. Priority seating is strongly recommended.
